Google is your friend..

Game 5 of the 94 Finals was interrupted for an update on the OJ Simpson case.

And one of those rookies that didn't win ROY even though they made the ASG is Kobe. Could the other one be Yao?

Kobe wasnt an all star his rookie year. is Hakeen Olajuwan one of them? or maybe Kareem? The only guys I know for sure who've been all stars as rookies are Yao, Jordan, Kareem, and Wilt.

I'm pretty sure Kobe was in the ASG as a rookie. And he had an incident with Malone, or something like that :?

he didnt even average 10 ppg as a rookie. I went over his stats at NBA.com and it said his first ASG was in 1998. He was drafted in 1996.

Kobe won the 1997 dunk contest, which would have been when he was a rookie because he was drafted in June of 06 and his rookie season was the 1996-1997 season. Does anyone know if Hakeem was an all star as a rookie?

1. Rockets/Knicks Game 5, coverage of the infamous OJ Simpson Bronco chase.
2. Hakeem Olajuwon (1985), Yao Ming (2003)
