he got 6 in the first quarter and a half, then in the third he got another then they sat him. Too bad he could of gone for 12 to tie the single game record...

He broke the record by 2, getting 269 for the season.

No, by that I mean Ray doesnt take challenges like that in respectable way. Every elite star in the league faces as tough defense as he faced, many of those referred to be dirty like those from Bell/ Bowen, but the players take it differently. Some years ago Carter did the same thing, kept complaining to the media how dirty bowen plays D on him, but now he is more matured and know thats gonna be a part of the game and he gonna beat it with his play as a basketball player. When these stars fail they don't blame it on others dirty play or etc, but they just take it on their part and improve their level of play. In this aspect Allen isnt as respectable, coupled with that sometimes he says unnecessary ( shit) to the media.

Eh how can you hate on Allen, at least he was involved in a good movie and not something where he wears a black metal suit or is a genie, nor did he make a totally bullshit rap album.

I wonder if he'll be able to eclipse Reggie's mark although I hope he does, personal preference I guess.

Its hard for me to believe carter is more mature than allen. Allen got pissed at him cuz bowen grabs his jersey and kicked him in the head when he was on the floor. I'd be pissed too. Allen still lit San Antonio up last year though, they woulda beat san antonio too if rashard and vlade werent hurt. Thats both the SF and backup SF right there.

he's a very quiet guy, he isnt flashy at all since he's gone to the sonics. The only thing he's brought to the press is the bruce bowen incident, which was not unjustified. You're a spurs fan, or at least a bowen fan, so you'll be on bowen's side no matter what.

Ray allen is a respectable guy, he was on the all interview team multiple times and he doesnt lash out without a very good motive.
