Detroit....this topic should include the remaining schedule for each team too!

I know Detroit has the easiest, only 3 games left against West teams....all at home.

Dallas has to play Detroit & San Antonio and has the hardest schedule with Spurs being in the middle.

Dallas lost again today.

I'm pretty sure that the Spurs will come out with the best record. Detroit's been struggling lately.

Its funny how when the Pistons lose like 3 out of10 we say they are struggling but with any other team thats a solid run. Oh well.

Well if you have only lost 13 games all season, losing 3 of the last 10 is close to, if not struggling.

I think Detroit will, only just.

It's a double standard but I think it really serves as a compliment rather than an insult. It's suggesting that which is considered struggling for Detroit would be considered impressive for other teams, showing just how impressive Detroit has been this year.

ok i guess the full tiebreaker rule should be posted then..
The following is an explanation of NBA tiebreaking scenarios.

Determining Ties for Playoff Position

In order to break a tie for playoff positions, if one exists at the end of the regular season, the following criteria will be utilized in the order set forth:

TWO-WAY TIES

a. Results of games against each other.

b. Better winning percentage within own conference.

c. Better winning percentage within own division (only if tied teams are in same division).

d. Better winning percentage against playoff opponents in own conference.

e. Better winning percentage against playoff opponents in opposite conference.

f. Better point differential between offense and defense.

MORE THAN TWO TEAMS TIED

a. If applicable, division champions must be determined first.

b. Best cumulative winning percentage in total games involving all teams tied.

c. Best winning percentage within own conference.

d. Best winning percentage within own division (only if tied teams are in same division).

e. Best winning percentage against playoff opponents in own conference.

f. Best point differential between offense and defense.
