For the first time since Hurricane Katrina, the Hornets are back in New Orleans. But with the team still based in Oklahoma City, Mike Fish examines whether they'll ever return for good. Story

Good thing that the New Orleans Arena is back. It shows that the city of New Orleans is slowly recuperating from the Hurricane Katrina. Good for NO. (Y)

I think theres like 190,000 people there. About 1 out of every 10 or so people in NO was at the game last night.

good to see them back and getting support. though they aint gonna be in NO as long as celtics are in boston.. though they might all have to move teams towards middle america cause of rising ocean levels. crazy economics.

good to see them back again.

lol, I will agree what Charles Barkley said on TNT last night, this is plain retarded. Hornets are better of in Oklahoma, better fans, more income, higher W percentage. New Orleans is hell far from being back on its feet, the fat taht most of the people there live in adamn trailers now and barely have any money, it is rediculous. Hornets need to stay in Oklahoma for at least 2 moer years.

Yep, it's completely ludicrous. There's no way in hell the team will survive there, considering nearly half of the original 500,000 people are gone for good. Heck, they had the lowest attendance of any team in the NBA before Katrina... are we supposed to believe that after the catastrophe the team will have fan support?
