Kleiza-next C. Barkley? (very optimistic opinion)

Fri Mar 03, 2006 12:36 am

I watched many Nuggets game this season, and I noticed that L. Kleiza's play is in a way simillar to C. Barkleys style. They both are too small to play PF, but do it succesfully due to their skills. When L. Kleiza got more playing time, he many times outmached his oponent, even though he was much taller and heavyer. Even though so far L. Kleiza is almost not comparable with that NBA legend, Kleiza is only 21 years old, so in time maybe he'll become a superstar.

How about, no? Okay?

Well you know, in Lithuania we havw such things as TV or internet.

Fri Mar 03, 2006 12:53 am

I just compared their styles. I didn't say that he will surely be next Barkley. That's impossible.

I know. They are the latest trend in Greece, as well.

And we can play basketball better than you, seeing as though WE are the reigning European champions. 8-)

and you are Baskerball genius.lol

Why did you said that you only compared their styles and Topic titel is L. Kleiza next C. Barkley.

Fri Mar 03, 2006 1:29 am

You need BIG headlines if you want to hear more opinions. If I would have named it smth. like "L. Kleiza's style is a little simmilar to C. Barkleys style". How many replies do you think I would have?

Fri Mar 03, 2006 1:29 am

Probably about the same.

Fri Mar 03, 2006 4:43 am

Maybe I don't follow the Nuggets or something, but I have never heard of an L. Kleiza. I had to copy and paste that name, btw.

Fri Mar 03, 2006 5:06 am

hm... i watched kleiza in the mcd all star game and then at mizzou and now some games with nuggets. he's got some talent.. and while his game may be similar, it will take like Xhibit to come and pimp out his skills before he can even some close to barkley.

Pimp My Kleiza!

CB34 is like the michael jordan of undersize pf
other successful undersized pf i can fink or are : malik rose, marcus fizer, clarence weatherspoon, junk yard dog..

if they are as successful as these guys, i'll be happy, but will he be CB34? well the chance of that is kwame becoming jermaine o'neal

Sat Mar 04, 2006 6:09 am

Yes, Marcus Fizer is doing just fine in the minor leagues.

Sat Mar 04, 2006 8:32 am

Another biased person mannn.
That's like me saying Zhizhi Wang will be the next Shaq with shooting skills. Hahaha.
He ain't no Barkley. He is an alright player but no Barkley what so ever. Maybe in NBA Live but ya.

Sat Mar 04, 2006 9:06 am

I'd say comparing DeShawn Stevenson to Michael Jordan is a better comparison than the one stated above.

Sat Mar 04, 2006 9:30 am

Or Jerome Moiso to Kevin Garnett

I wouldn't call Chris Bosh an undersized pf.

As much as I like the Nuggets, I don't think this guy is gonna explode into a superstar. I think he can bring some energy off the bench for 8-10 mins, but thats about it.
