I dont know why, but its funny! First he gets benched......OVER JOE SMITH, then he breaks his nose.

Could it get any worse for him?

You guys seem to have glossed over the fact that after Bogut broke his nose, he came back into the game and pretty much dominated. The team were 30+(points) with him on the floor and -20 with him out of it. According to the Bucks fans at RealGM, he broke it because he stripped the ball from Iverson so Iverson threw his arms up trying to get a foul from it and hit Bogut in the face. Apparentely he looked ridiculous in the mask.

Iverson was already in the air when Bogut got to the ball so it was a reaction play rather than a malicious foul.

Bogut looks unathletic like hell, that alley oop he did looked poor. It looked like he took an eternity to run and barely got any lift.

Looks like Philly can't beat Bucks.

Seriously man it isn't really funny at all........LeBron and Rip Hamilton wore very similar masks. Was that funny?

No they didn't, theirs didn't have the white parts, which basically is the main reason why it looks stupid. Bogut's face and hair style are another big reason..

and Matt I don't think he wears the mask for nose protection anymore, I read somewhere that he said they went on a nice winning streak when he just had the mask so he kept wearing it.

I think that ugly white thing was the only mask Bogut could get in that space of time, because he went off and came back fairly quickly. Hopefully he'll have a clear one for the next game, otherwise he'll continue to look like a dickhead.

some of you Aussies surprise me at times....as a Kiwi, I'm a huge fan of guys like Sean Marks, Pero Cameron, Kirk Penney and Mark Dickel to name a few....these guys are paving the way for NZ bball, just like Andrew Bogut is starting to re-pave the way for Aussie bball....sure, the mask might look stupid, but it seems like there are a whole bunch of Aussies (aside from Jae and a few other faithfuls of course) who just seem to waiting in the wings for something bad to happen to him....guess it's the good old Aussie spirit I guess....

losing your spot to Smith is nothing to be ashamed of....Smith is a seasoned vet and the PF spot was guaranteed to him before the season started, so Bogut didn't lose it, he was just holding it until Smith was healthy....I think Bogut's playing well, 8 & 9 are great numbers for the role and minutes he is playing....remember he averaged 11 & 9 or something in his freshman year at Utah when no plays were run for him and he moved it up in sophomore year....hopefully he bumps it up when the chances come, which they will....it's good to see he doesn't mind doing the dirty work on the boards and D....I know in my situation at bball, when a couple of our players were missing, I easily went for 25-30ppg, but we lost....now they're back, my shots might have dropped to a 1/4 of what they were, but I'm making up for it on the boards and on D....as any good teammate would....

be proud of him, I am....I might actually get myself a Bogut jersey when I'm over there next week....just my 2 cents worth I guess....just surprises me that Argentinians love Ginobili, Spaniards love Gasol, Kiwis love Marks, yet it's not the same in Australia....and please don't reply with the whole arrogant Bogut argument, we've all heard it too many times....let's see if you change your mind when Bogut puts the Australian National Team on his back in the next decade....

ahh well....and yeah  it's a funny mask

might try and get a Swingman jersey when I'm over in LA....although I don't know how easy it will be to get a Bogut jersey in LA, that's the only problem....maybe I'll hunt for an old school Cedric Ceballos one....now that would be a score....
