Watch Live NBA Games (Heat/Rockets on now)

Postby J@3 on Fri Nov 11, 2005 12:09 pm

This has been doing the rounds of various basketball websites...

1: Download Sopcast.

2: Install it and everything, you will get a window with a list of channels.

3: Right click the channel "Sports | CCTV5 (test)" and click "Play"

4: Wait for it to buffer, may take some time. You'll soon see the game.

It's all in some bizarre Asian language which is a bit annoying, it's these two Asians commentating over TNT footage but it's still good to watch all the same. Antar Warker!

It's a live stream of a Chinese TV channel, I don't think there's anything wrong with it.

Is this for all games or just for Yao Ming games?

Quality is kind of choppy too, regardless thanks for the link. I'll probably just stick to watching them on Canal +.

It doesn't lag on mine. You have to watch it for about 20 minutes and the lag disappears entirely.

It's not just Houston games. They have Grizzlies/Cavs coming up.

Mine lags. A lot. I've been watching since the last post I made in this thread.

Nah, Canal Plus is a subscription based channel. Sorry if I gave you any hopes.

What other things are you doing online? I don't really care that yours is lagging because mine's been fine since the first quarter, but my curiosity is getting the best of me.

You can just go to nba.com and listen to the live radio stream of the game and turn the sound off on the chinese version.

And the stream is about a minute or so behind the real live game.

I got sick of it and turnt it off, the commentary was fucking irritating. Paojefopjaef aefoaejof Yao Ming aopfjaopef aefopjfoaef Antar Warkar paoefjopaejf aefoejf Yao Ming.

is it a big download(how many MB)?

The actual SopCast is only like 1mb. The game itself is streamed, you don't have to download it before you watch it.

Does it actually stop lagging heaps and run smooth after a while?

It did for me.
