He's still a FA. He got passed on by the Pistons, Nuggets, Rockets and Lakers.I guess he can't feed his family this season, hahah.

if he doesnt sign with the Lakers, or any team, do you think he'll retire?
Sun Oct 02, 2005 7:53 pm
Who cares....the only good thing that Sprewell did, was create Spinners (rims), THATS IT!
I reckon he wont retire, someone will want him....
Sun Oct 02, 2005 11:14 pm
Or he'll get a MVP in some leagues out of USA..
It's just weird that nobody wants him.. He isn't that bad isn't he
Sun Oct 02, 2005 11:58 pm
I bet you a load of team wants him , he just wants money though.
Mon Oct 03, 2005 12:58 am
I'm having a feeling that he'll sign with the Timberwolves for one year.
Mon Oct 03, 2005 1:08 am
The Rockets are interested in Spree..
Mon Oct 03, 2005 1:46 am
But they don't have the money that he wants.
Perhaps a sign and trade Sprewell for Vin Baker and Bob Sura.
Mon Oct 03, 2005 2:05 am
The Rockets are interested in anyone that's a Guard at the moment.

Maybe Spree will end up in Miami! They would be able to put on the floor a starting five of headcases! Yay.
Mourning, Walker, Spree, Payton and Williams... yikes! It just seems ment to be!
Mon Oct 03, 2005 3:16 am
He won't go to Miami for sure, they don't have enuff money. He'll probably resign with t-wolves.
Mon Oct 03, 2005 4:43 am
I actually wanted Spree to sign with Detroit, then i remembered hes crazy...
Mon Oct 03, 2005 11:56 am
i actually think spree would fit in wit detroit and be a nice player there.... if spree gets it goin, even at his old age, he can still produce some highlights
and hes one guy who def has motivation in his blood, hes a winner. he just has to channel that in the right places, not on his coaches, but on the court

yes. he makes horrible shot selections and doesn't drive the lane, which he can still do very well. He always settles for the open jumper. He was great in 03-04, but the next year he didn't step up after Sam Cassell got injured. He's never going to have another starting job again IMO.

Isn't that what he's suppose to do? Shoot the OPEN jumper?

LMAO!
Wed Oct 05, 2005 11:52 pm
why would you NOT shoot the open jumper??? its better than shooting when the whole team is on you like Kobe Bryant.
Thu Oct 06, 2005 7:51 am
My mistake he always settles for the CONTESTED JUMPER.
Thu Oct 06, 2005 9:18 am
He settles for the mid-range floater because that's they play call. He is a scorer. Streaky shooter, good slasher. But he doesn't have the athleticism anymore to be that great slasher.
Thu Oct 06, 2005 9:35 am
He's still IMO a better slasher than shooter.
Thu Oct 06, 2005 10:03 am
spree right now is trying to feed his family.....dont know where he'll actually end up....he'll find a job somewhere....
Thu Oct 06, 2005 10:04 am
lol training camp has started and spree hasn't found a team yet. I guess he's too greedy or no one wants a coach strangler.

The Guy is a cancer. Many teams would love to have him but not at the price of their team chemistry.
