Nets Brooklyn Arena property bought

I heard they were moving to Brooklyn, but I thought it was just ideas and/or rumours.

Says here that in 2008-9 season they are gonna be Brooklyn Nets, cool.

And also says they are gonna spend the most money on the arena than any other arena of its kind in the country.

Why would they call them the Brooklyn Jersey Nets? It's like the Lakers being called the Los Minneapolis Lakers.
