This world is going to shambles, I tell you... :(

i never understood why these people wanted to carry guns on airplanes or wherever. Isn't the "bling blings" enough message saying they are rich? It's funny cause i don't see players like MJ, Shaq, LBJ, ... etc. It's only the dumb and the ones with no common sense that do these things. I bet most of them can't even handle a hand gun. Who are they trying to impress? They have to hide the gun most of time anyways!!???

Guns are carried for protection?? Gee, they could easily afford 4 goons around them.

Status symbol? My ass.

"One time a certain big man was teed off because a certain guard wasn't giving him the ball enough. 'People don't pay to see little guys like you dribbling around in circles,' the big man said. 'They want to see me go to work in the pivot.'" "The guard's response was this: 'Well, I've got something for you.' Then he dug into his gym bag, pulled out a piece and stuck it right into the big guy's nose. 'Listen up,' the little guy said. 'I ain't no play dude. I'm a real gangsta. So if you've got anything more to complain about, I'm gonna blow a hole in the middle of your face.' Needless to say, the big man never did get the ball.

David Stern take note. Maybe metal detectors in the locker rooms isn't such a bad idea.

Outrageous man... (N)

"Sometimes the situation got to be outrageous," Double-D says. "One time a certain big man was teed off because a certain guard wasn't giving him the ball enough. I've seen this go down on two separate occasions."

Sounds like there was great chemistry on that team.

Kobe vs Shaq?? (sorry, couldn't resist)

The thing is, they are targets. Especially in LA. I'm not condoning what they do, but i understand.

Whats fucked is rappers talk about guns all the time, and thats accepted... but when an athlete mentions it (like kg) or found with one... its a big shock.

That's a good point. But violence and guns are intertwined with hip-hop lyrics so people come to expect it... Basketball was never meant to be this way though...

Sun Jul 10, 2005 7:53 pm

I don't like this stuff, too violence.

No, of course britanny doesnt have a gun. But how often does she drive through the hood? or walk through? Im sure Maggette goes through there alot, to help out. He is a bigger target. Once again, im not condoning it, but i understand.

They arent pulling guns on the court. Its off the court stuff, so it really has nothing to do with basketball.

Damn, I wonder if AI will shoot me if I run after him for an autograph...lol
 I wanna see Yao with one... 8-)

Sun Jul 10, 2005 10:43 pm

If Yao was wearing baggy pants like that video, he could fit 7 shotguns in there :?

Once again: exchange your 'hood' posse with professional bodyguards who are actually trained, licenced, and are far less likely to go on a shooting spree taking out a few innocent bystanders while they're at it. Reasonable, no?

Did he shoot anyone? Wilcox that is.
