hmm..can't think of anything wrong with that list ATM. maybe they should've switched KG and Dirk but then again the T-Wolves didn't do so well

Yeah, I think they did a good job here, maybe just Iverson on the first team is not right. That's all I'd say...

Yeah, leading the League in scoring (at 30.7 ppg), second in steals (2.40), and fifth in assists (7.9) is not 1st team material

Yeah but he's not a team player, even though he has high assist numbers, he's still a "ball hog".

Kobe's also a ball hog. That doesn't make him and AI All-NBA candidates? :?

That doesn't make sense..

Iverson may be a ballhog, but he is the only one on that team with a big heart and gets out there and play despite being hurt. Webber wouldn't go out and play injured as much as Iverson does I bet. Iverson DESERVED to be on the first team, you can look at his numbers. AI also can't depend on his teammates to make big shots which is why he has to be a ballhog. I'm pretty sure if his other teammates did more on the offensive end, he wouldn't have to do as much so I wouldn't consider it his fault.

Anyway, back on topic, the teams are pretty much set right.

I think T-Mac was ripped, he lead the Rockets this year, and made them competitive in the first round against the Mavs.
at least 2nd team over ray allen i thought, though rays sonics are goin alrite.

Its silly they rank him as a sf, in that case i woulda gave it to him over lebron james.

wow! cant beleive im sticking u pfor T-Mac...............lol

good to see vc and kidd in the votes race, even if neither of them made it (by a fair margin) they made one hell of a duo

First Team:

Duncan: Enough said.
Nowitzk: amazing year with career high in many categories.
Shaq: MVP runner-up
Iverson: Top 5 in ppg and spg.
Nash: MVP

Second Team:

LeBron: Outstanding individual year.
Garnett: Another amazing year. By not being able to make the playoff made him looked bad and didn't get enough votes to beat Nowitzki\
Stoudemire: becoming one of the best C/PF in the league.
Wade: Flash has done it!
Allen: led The Supersonics to the next level this season.

Third Team:

McGrady: had an amazing season.
Marion: an all-around incredible season.
B. Wallace: Defensive Player of the Year! (again)
Kobe: had his ups and downs. Still one of the best player in the league.
Arenas: had a good year and is becoming into one of the best PG in the league.

You're right, Iverson does play with a big heart, but Webber's still gotta get adjusted and he's the one who has to get him involved and he's not doing that. He said he wanted help, they got him an All-Star Big man. Well then use him and get him involved...and he can hit the big shots too, he proved that this year with Sacramento  ...

How come you're complaining on the behalf of Webber when Webber himself isn't complaining? He can hit big shots? Right. He disappears come playoffs, he can't hit any big shots. One year of doing all right doesn't make him a big shot maker. Duncan is a big shot maker. Garnett is a big shot maker. Bryant is a big shot maker. Webber is not.

Iverson carries the Sixers, he's the focal point of the team. Bringing in Webber won't magically turn Iverson into the most sharing person in the world. He's never had to share, he needs time to adjust give him a break.

Btw, former All Star, not current.

Based on what? Playing on one leg? All Stars are for the fans & they decide. Fans didn't want to see Webber hop around on one leg.

c-webbsixers, you still haven't made a good argument about why AI is not 1st team All-NBA. We went from the All-NBA teams to Webber.

Not that i'm a Dirk hater, quite the opposite, but technically & statistically Amare, LeBron, & KG are ahead of him. Perhaps you knock KG & LeBron down to 2nd team because their teams have failed, but what then of Amare?

Vince should've been in the third team over Kobe, either him or Kidd. Kobe had fairly good numbers, but he missed a fair amount of games, had minimal team success, and went 2-19 to end the season. He's lucky he got in on one of the teams this year.

Tmac got unlucky that he was listed as a Forward, because as a Guard he would've made the 2nd team. He had a lot more points than Ray Allen, but was beat by Lebron for the 2nd team spot. I would've liked to see him there, but Lebron deserved it too.

Iverson deserved first team, but Wade is definately arguable over him there. I liked the teams, the only changes I would've made would be to have Vince or Kidd over Kobe.
