As there are still 8 teams still battling it out in the playoffs, many teams are goign straight to the drawing board to muster ideas of improving their squads... wat do u guys think your team should do to improve?
Mon May 09, 2005 6:09 pm
Warriors: Insure Baron Davis' knees...
Mon May 09, 2005 10:04 pm
Knicks: New coach and a good draftee(Please not another gauard).
Mon May 09, 2005 10:13 pm
Raptors: Find someone who can actually can play defence.
Mon May 09, 2005 11:02 pm
Knicks: Get a true Center
Mon May 09, 2005 11:16 pm
Lakers: Get a pointguard that doesn't jack up a shot anytime he's allowed to touch the ball.
Tue May 10, 2005 12:05 am
More Raptors: Find a general manager who doesn't mess up every possible transaction, from getting fleeced in the Vince deal, to drafting Araujo over Iguodala to not getting anything for Marshall.

Boston -
Make Walker go offski, hopefully in a s/t packaged with Allen
Release Payton, make B-Jax the new starting PG with a combo of West/Banks alternating from the bench
Trade up to Green, somehow. Don't know exactly how but make this happen!
Make Blout go away. Straight up for Malik Rose would make me happy.
If Green is out of reach, try for Martell Webster.
Tue May 10, 2005 4:15 am
make B-Jax the new starting PG
Who's B-Jax?
Knicks: New coach and a good draftee(Please not another gauard).
Don't worry, Isaea will probably pick an undersized PF...
More Warriors: Have someone assasinateAdonal Foyle discreetly, as it is the only way to void his contract...

Bo Jackson.
Just "my kind" of PG, nothing like the Payton of yesteryear. Realgm lists im as UFA, but I've heard ...somewhere that he has a team-option of one year. So I don't know who to trust.

Bobby Jackson? No way... Good palyer and all, but he wont play more than 50 games a season, never again. His January leg problems are becoming a trend... No one should count on him to be the starting PG, plus he's a tweener. I think Marcus Banks and Tony Allen can handle the point in a rotation...
Tue May 10, 2005 6:25 am
Raptors: Just make the team better. There's too many problem areas that they need to fix.
Tue May 10, 2005 7:31 am
Kings:let ostertag GO
Tue May 10, 2005 7:42 am
anybody: raid Memphis for talent when they go into rebuilding mode this summer.
Tue May 10, 2005 9:29 am
Denver: Draft a good SG. Get rid of Lenard, sign DerMarr and some good free agents!
Tue May 10, 2005 9:30 am
Pacers: oh wait, we're still playing!!!
(PS. Resign James Jones.)
Tue May 10, 2005 10:05 am
Suns will win it all, but they can improve.
A back-up point guard that can make good decisions.
A back-up power forward that can post up and body up on defence.
Tue May 10, 2005 10:30 am
Lakers: How could you not take advantage of a 6'7 PG??? Get Sasha some trainers quick
Tue May 10, 2005 12:40 pm
Detroit:

Re-sign Ben Wallace & Tay Prince to long deals.

acquire some bench help....Hunter & Campbell are getting on in years
Tue May 10, 2005 12:44 pm
Chicago: Re-sign their key free agents, look to bring in another capable veteran who won't interfere with team chemistry. Donyell Marshall sounds like a good idea, if he's at all interested. Work out an extension with Skiles, the team has bought into his philosophy and obviously respect him. Quite simply, don't try to fix what isn't broken. Unless a really good deal comes along, don't break up the current core group.

Spurs: find another foreign hidden gem buried somewhere in the draft

lol, as if Nash and Stoudemire's not good enough
Tue May 10, 2005 2:45 pm
Lakers: Sign a good point guard.........Felton
Try and sign Kwame Brown....MLE! MLE! MLE!
Get Lamar more involved, or trade him
P.S Jackal, your Shaq quotes in your sig make me laugh, only to the fact that it sounds like typical Shaq, putting down the players that helped make what he is today
I can see him putting down Wade to if the Heat dont make the finals, or win them.
Man, i am becoming the biggest Shaq-Hater lol
Tue May 10, 2005 4:39 pm
Lakers:
Trade Odom
Trade Atkins
Trade George
Sign/Trade for inside player who can rebound + defend
Leave Kwame the hell alone

Kwame + Kobe?
Draft a good PG... none of this "we're looking at an unnamed high school player" shit
Spurs: find another foreign hidden gem buried somewhere in the draft
Mindaugas Katelynas or Lucas Tischer
Tue May 10, 2005 6:35 pm
Lakers:
I think Kwame wouldnt be a bad pickup for the MLE, its only one year and who knows.. he might become average at least and then he could skip town... but if he is smart (i doubt) hed stick around!
