cavs fall to 76ers

huge lost for the cavaliers. Now they tied with philly for 7th seed and on the verge of dropping out now.
LeBrons 48min, 37pt, 13reb, 7asst, 5 steals (+5TO) just wasn't enough

iverson had 46min, 24pt, 7reb, 16  asst, 5steal (+8TO)
both lebron and iverson took 30 shoots each, buut it seems the sixers were just the better team.
interesting stat was those 16assits by iversion...not only cause he took 30 shots also, but because it was more than the amount of assist the cavs team had (15)

They're in dangerous territory but I think they'll regroup and make the playoffs, though probably as the eighth seed.

YEAH! AI's making it happen! (Y)
GO SIXERS!
7th seed isn't bad compared to 8th which will go up against the Heat.
HE'S USING HYPNOSIS!

i think its fair to ask the man to shoot atleast 40% in a game. yeah the 16 assists is really nice but when you shoot that bad and have 8 TO's it kinda makes it seem pointless. either way nice win for them.

They still got the W. Makes you wonder how the Cavs lost, if Iverson shot less than 40%, and got 8 TO's.

9/30 shots?

Dweaver, would you want to shoot 20/20 and lose, or shot 9/30 and win??

clevelands meltdown this season has been one of the biggest and most disappointing (at least for cleveland fans :)) in recent history. I cant remember a team that was doing so well for the first half of the year, leading a division that was going to send 4 out of the 5 teams to the playoffs, the best division in the eastern conference, fall so hard on their ass.

its ok with me though!

That's kind of interesting: AI getting a career high in assists in the same game he shoots horribly. Like he realized he was having a bad shooting night, and "forced" some passes - and they win! Maybe AI should pass some more if he can get 16 asissts just by deciding to pass...

I think the main thing about AI is that he has heart and he wants to win. Call him selfish or a ballhog, but all he wants to do is win, and most of the time that means he has to carry the Sixers on his back. I don't find it surprising that he got 16 assists.

I think that people on these forums need to get it through their head that Allen Iverson is not a player that you can judged based on what you see on the paper. Watch him play, see what he brings to the team, then comment.

 Heh, like he realized there were good matchups for the Sixers in the post.
Also, not every game Dalembert and Jackson score 20+ points...
