Thing this trade will go through?

I hope the Kings don't do it.

I highly doubt it......Kings-Lakers dont make trades......they just dont.....if they do then the Lakers will have an OQ(Original Queen).....

The Kings would definitely lose if this were to happen. I wouldn't even give up just Peja for Odom.

But Peja is gonna walk once his contract is up, they need to get rid of him or else they'll get nothing in return. Plus since mobley has come Pejas numbers are down big time, and it has nothing to do with injurys.

This wasn't the proposed trade.

Here is what it was supposed to be:

Lakers get: Stojakovic and Jackson

Kings get: Boozer and Odom

Jazz get: Butler, George, and Divac

the winner in that trade would definitley be the lakers, the kings in second and the jazz in third.

the lakers get a better point guard imo and a great shooter to go along with kobe on the wing.

first, the only trade that will happen will be caron, devean and vlade for booz.
the lamar to peja and jax will not happen.

second, if the above trade will happen (but will not), you said lakers the big winner here???
giving 4 players to get peja and jax???
peja maybe a very good shooter but i rather have odom rebounding than peja shooting.
Jax will never be the super-sub as he was before after that so many injury...

and as discuss in the other trade, boozer will be in purple and gold in less than 48 hours....

Phew, not going to happen. Go to the "Lakers 3 for 1" Thread. Explains why we're not dealing (although the deal for peja and b-jax sounded very intriguing..)

first of all, i was just specualting, i know this trade would never happen.

second of all yes the lakers would be winners in this trade. peja has had an off-year this season, but he was a top 7 or 8 mvp candidate last year. bobby jackson would give them amazing depth at the PG spot, and he is definitley an upgrade over chucky atkins. with this trade the lakers would have a lineup of

PG-bobby jackson
SG-kobe bryant
SF-peja stojakovic
PF-brian grant
C-chris mihm

that looks pretty damn good to me.

bojax is a FA after season.. it wouldn't have worked.

bojax is one of those players that need the ball. he's not really a catch and shoot player. he doesnt distribute the ball that much. he's worse at passing than chucky!

except the fact that peja, kobe, and bjax all want to jack up 20 shots a game. you're gonna have serious trouble getting those to play together. i'd rather have bjax come off the bench.

2 for 2, not 4.

yes it 2 for 2, if you loook kings-lakers trade.
but he said Boozer and odom for peja and jax.
but lakers dont have booz, to get booz they giving away 3 players.
so do the math, they will lose odom, caron, divac and george to get peja and jax.

its not logical to give away Lamar when we need a big man/rebounder... losing another big man in Lamar for a shooting forward is just suicide for the Lakers... thats why Caron Butler is dispensable... when compared to Lamar

What if the 3 trades went down?

Kobe, Redd, Peja, Boozer & Gadzuric?

Theres only one ball.. u do the math.

Unless Booze is intent on just grabbing rebounds all day long ala Dennis Rodman, Gadzurich passes out of the paint and acts as the guy who gets the ball and throws it out... and Redd and Peja just shoot and do nothing else... maybe it could work.
