well, hornets finally got there 10th win of the season tonight which means they won't be the worst ever.
However, their record still sucks and overall still suck, but they've moved up into Bobcats and Hawks territory. With there recent surge (5 wins in January..that's more wins that the knicks have had this year) they don't look like the worst team anymore.
Anyway, who will finish last overall this year record wise?
Currently the 5 worst teams in the NBA record wise are
1. New Orleans Hornets: 10-40
2. Atlanta Hawks: 10-38
3. Charlotte Bobcats: 10-37
4. Golden State Warriors: 14- 36
5. Utah Jass: 17-33
6. KNICKS: 19-31

Expansion teams are not talented enough to string games together. Too sparatic.

I like the attept to hide it, 3-18 since the New Year just baffles me, even with injuries, that's just extremely sad.

Bobcats i guess, although don't expect Atlanta to go down w/o a fight for suckiness, i mean they have Walker and he likes to shoot excessive amounts of 3's.

yeah knicks are just a sad story, every game is anther excuse to lose

hornets

Bobcats.
what happened to kareem rush? he was supposed to be like a 18ppg-er, now he injures himself. if he doesnt get into his mizzou-days, he's going to be some IR player for the rest of his career, and thats with the 'cats too.
ATL is pretty close. I dont like Childress, but he's doing good for the shitty team. we all know this team is josh smith's.. or at least he's their franchise within 3 years.
hornets are surprisingly playing well and i can't see them as last place. their philosophy of "players need minutes to develop" is sure working. dan dickau, casey jacobsen, bostijan nachbar, lee nailon sure are surprsingly playing well.
knicks organization and players just piss the shit outa me. i hope to hell that they finish last.

I'd have to say New Orleans in last place for the end of the year. But Charlotte has lost 5 straight now so I would go with them after the Hornets.

My bet is the Hornets. They are terrible this year, and I thought they had a shot at the playoffs at the beginning of the year.

Hornets... when they're healthy, they're a playoff team, but w/out BD, Magliore, Mash, Nailon... they won't do much, especially with aging George Lynch and PJ Brown in the starting lineup

Bobcats are still worse than hornets... not really but they are in experienced... Okafor will start to feel the effect of 82 games!
Sun Feb 13, 2005 3:47 pm
it hurts to say it but it is going to be the 'cats
Sun Feb 13, 2005 4:55 pm
of course its gonna be the Cats!

New York's rapid decline makes them a good candidate, but I think the Hornets and Bobcats are the more likely contenders for the most ping pong balls in this year's draft lottery.

Hornets or Bobcats for sure
Its hard to tell right now
