Ther's a rumor that C-Webb could be traded, before trade deadline of course,to New York Knicks. He's good friend with Thomas,bla,bla,bla...
I dunno if it's posible,who would Thomas give for Webber.T-T +draft picks?
What do you think?

No shit!?
That rumor has been going forever. Maybe it's true after all, the trade deadline is close and Thomas' always making trades that hel the Knicks getting to the 1st round

Not a chance.
Sac-Town would have to be stupid and NY is already way over the cap. C-Webb makes too much coin. Sac would have to absorb Houston and Hardaway among anyone else.

i could def see c-web in ny tho. and y not? they wanna trade kurt thomas... maybe kurt and houston for cweb... idunno if thats even good, kurt is really good

If they did acquire Allan Houston they would have too many Guards and Forwards that need playing time. They already have Mike Bibby and Bobby Jackson who play together sometimes, and then you have Mobley and Stojakovic who need their shots to put up points.
If the Kings do get Houston or Thomas I think they will get rid of the as soon as possible, because they are already way to packed at the PG - SG - SF positions.

This is New York rumors we're talking about. There has been a rumor for almost any star you can think of coming to New York, and with all the times Chris Webber has been mentioned I can safely say if it was going to happen, it would have happened by now.

Webber is such a solid player hes worth anybody on nicks+1st round draft pick, Except Marbury.

Stop Bashing people its not that big of a deal.

where did you get the info (about the rumor)? or is this just a speculation?
Tue Feb 08, 2005 1:53 pm
hehe the title got me excited for a second ( long boring day at college)
anyway knicks don't have the right stuff to trade for webber in my opinion. Why are they willing to trade someone with a low post presence for anther jump shooter- actually injuried jump shooter as in allan houston.
and tim thomas? this guy has been a underacheiver his whole career.
They could get a lot more for webber than what the knicks are offering. But you never know..who imagined marbury coming here for bench players like ward and eisley?

how about kurt thomas, tim thomas and a 1st round pick for c-webb. sacramento could get tim thomas off the books after this year(according to realgm.com) and get a new york 1st round pick which would probably be between 15-20 after getting c-webb plus you have a capable offensive and defensive player in k. thomas.
sacramento lineup
c: brad miller
pf: kurt thomas
sf: peja stojakovic
sg: cuttino mobley
pg: mike bibby
newyork
c: nazr mohammed
pf: c-webb
sf: hardaway/ariza/williams
sg: crawford
pg: marbury
not bad on paper for both teams

I doubt those salaries work at all.
Tue Feb 08, 2005 5:38 pm
man... like everyone else i though C-Webb and his sorry ass moved to the big apple!
Wed Feb 09, 2005 12:52 pm
well according to realgm they match up pretty well so i don't know if its an error with realgm but they said it works

I Agree!

Webber leaving could be good for the Kings. Look at how good they did last season without him. They had the best record in the league..
No Webber = Peja as first option and that is good.
