If you didn't know - MJ has a few sons and the oldest one is a star of the Loyola HS varsity team:
High School: Wilmette Loyola
AAU Team: Rising Stars
Height: 6'2"
Number: 32
Position: Wing Guard
Scouting Report: Fundamentally sound, Jeffrey has an all-around game with a good mid-range jump shot. He also finishes well in traffic. He is the son of former NBA star Michael Jordan.
Well, he's in the class of '07, so he's how much? - 15, 16 years old? He still has time to improve and grow, but is for sure, that he'll be recruited simply 'cause of his father.

I like how it casually says "son of former NBA star Michael Jordan".
hehe

ive seen him play at a aau tournament in racine last year, MJ was their along with Caron Butler but anyhew..he really wasnt anything great,he didnt start for the team he was playing on but he was probably the 4th or 5th best player. when i was watching him warm up and play in the game his jumper was not really solid. he did have some pretty good handles and threw down a fast break dunk. with all that being said he could kick my ass

id be surprised if he went D1 but ya never know with former players kids.

i suspose the question to ask what type of jordans was he wearing any PE's or just general release 1's
Wed Jan 12, 2005 2:51 am
haha, i wonder if he'll end up in the league, even if he isn't that good. Teams might be thinking that he has 'potential' to be better than daddy!
Wed Jan 12, 2005 3:49 am
anthony mason son plays for a school in memphis called fairley and his name is anthony mason jr. imo when we played them, he is beter than his dad

he is a sg type of player. as for little jordan, he prolly will be recruited just because he is MJ's son. im 5'10 and play for my hs team, even though i don't play that much on varsity, but i start on jv

but i dont think ill get recruited

This sucks, the Jordan family is rich already, make room for another family

If he's not mentally strong enough, he's going to have one hell of a rough time in the beginning stages of his carreer. ( If he considers joining the NBA that is. )
Wed Jan 12, 2005 6:49 am
Everyone will want to kick Jordan's ass

. Imagine the hype if grows another 3-4 inches and gains a few pounds.
IMHO, he's no good, although I haven't seen him play yet. You simply can't be named Jeff and be cool at the same time. It wouldn't suprise me if it turns out that he's gay.
Wed Jan 12, 2005 6:58 am
ha imagine if he gets drafted and goes to the Bulls
he wont be able to wear #23 but still.... that'd be funny if he wore #45

2 words: Luke Walton
NBA sons dont make good players.
Wed Jan 12, 2005 8:53 am
now that it's been brought up- does anyone know of any nba great that had a son who became very successful in the nba?
Wed Jan 12, 2005 8:54 am
Kareem Abdul Jabbar Jr and Moses Malone Jr both play in ABA
Wed Jan 12, 2005 9:35 am
The current aba is hardly being "very succefful in the nba" like air gordon asked.
I cant think of any greats that have had kids that have been great players. Theres kobe, but his dad wasnt a great, then there is bill walton, but his son is hardly a gun of a player. Theres always the mannings if you look at the nfl though
Wed Jan 12, 2005 9:37 am
The Barrys. They're solid players
Wed Jan 12, 2005 10:16 am
Jon and Brent are good, but not great.. maybe if you put them together.
Wed Jan 12, 2005 10:23 am
Brent Barry is better than Jon Barry though. Same with Wesley Person and Chuck Person. Chuck Person was a better shooter
Wed Jan 12, 2005 11:07 am
How is Karl Malone's daughter doing i nthe WNBA??? lol

Wed Jan 12, 2005 3:15 pm

Wed Jan 12, 2005 4:50 pm
