Linky over here
I always thought he was a good player, and very underrated. I hope that he can prove himself on this team.

i didnt mean to imply he has to constantly shoot, just that he should get a few more shots on this team. face it besides him and okafor who can score? wallace probably the 3rd/2nd? option.

Is Fizer on the Bobcats roster at last? He's not even listed on their roster on nba.com (but he's no longer in the Bulls roster too)

this guy should go to Europe, that's all he deserves when you see his motivation :)

Knight is a good vet. He should be able to guide this team, not necessarily to wins, but in the right direction. He's a pass first guy and that should do good for the Cats.

i can't believe Live gave him a rating of 79 or so

Brevin Knight should be their starting PG.

He'll probably start. Too bad not both Cook and Hart can be developed now though. And Sauru please stop pretending to know anything. Wallace and Kapono are two pretty good scorers, Emeka has some good post moves, Ely is pretty good inside. It's defense this team is lacking, not scoring.

His first three campaigns were pretty solid. He's yet to average double figures in scoring but in his first three seasons he managed to balance out 9 ppg with at least 7 apg. Since then he's bounced around as a temporary solution backup, but an expansion team isn't a bad way for such players to re-establish themselves and produce career years.

brevin will be a good addition for bobcats but as i remember after the expansino draft he said the one thing they need was a point guard and will get a veteran point guard to be the mentor of young guys plus to have a respect from the ref. but what do they got house from clips. cook and knight from FA. can they get the respect for a call and will brevin be a mentor???/

Any suggestions? Why isn't Brevin decent? He's a decent player, what qualifies as decent in your books? Who's left on the market that's "decent" according to you?

I disagree. He played well for the Bucks last season when Ford went out and Jones started. He's solid off the bench...good defender/passer.

i didnt mean to imply he has to constantly shoot, just that he should get a few more shots on this team. face it besides him and okafor who can score? wallace probably the 3rd/2nd? option.

I don't know if you want to see him get more shots...and I don't believe Okafor will be the #1 option. I feel that will be Wallace. He is terrific slashing. The jumper is lacking, but right now, he's very good at getting the basket and finishing or getting to the line. Okafor has a very raw offensive game...I think he and Kapono will be split the #2 options with Tamar Slay, when and if he comes off the bench, being the 3rd option.

Fizre is not on the Bobcats. He was a RFA, but once the Cats took him, he became a UFA. I forget whose looking at him right now (earlier it was the Heat).

Cook scoring? Ely isn't really a scorer. Emeka is raw, but he'll score garbage points IMO. What this lacks is some more of everything. Including scoring (PG - House is the only one who can score, but he can't run a team for his life, SG - fine there, SF - fine there, PF - besides Okafor, nobody else, C - garbage points for big men), defense (PG - House, Cook suck, SG - Robinson is the only good one, SF - Kapono is terrible, Slay is ok, not sure about Benjamin, PF - Okafor is OK, Hunter is average, Smith isn't very good C - White, Brezec, Ely is OK.....).

In fact the majority of players on the roster have career averages under 5 PPG... that's not lacking offense? It very well may be the least accomplished group of offensive players ever assembled onto an NBA team.

I don't care what you think of Kapono and Wallace... to call them "pretty good scorers" when they average around 3 PPG apiece is completely unfounded and illogical. They may have the potential to be, but they have not proven they are yet.

I think it's illogical to be stating their PPG in their career when most of these players have hardly played significant minutes. However, I agree, the offense sucks.

Let me rephrase then, there is more potential for scoring than for defense.

Using career averages for players who mostly haven't been in the league for more than 3-4 seasons and have been buried on the bench is pretty weird though. Also, I completely understand these players aren't that good (they haven't been left unprotected for nothing), but I keep my stand that the defense will most likely be the thing that hurts the Bobcats the most.
