This could be a sign of things to come, if he has a mean streak now, he'll be tearing up the league next season.

Gehehehe, I think he was venting the frustrations of being dunked upon so many times. Kobe anyone?

Tch, I almost feel bad for the facials he's received. Nice shove though. :applaud:

Coach gaved Yao, the Little Big man ,a candy.

Yao was happy and was benched after the game for 3 months.

Yao was lieing on the dressing-room floor and crying and kicking when the earth started to brake. Luckily, i`m alive.Whoa,i got to go. The earthquake is here!!!!!

that isn't a way to gauge his softness. Because he didn't fight back.

Maybe thats how they do it at your place, but over here if someone throws a first punch, or starts messing with you by making physical contact, then you MUST fight back or else you will be a laughing stock

You have to fight back? There are times when fighting shouldn't cross your mind. You have a job to do, your a professional, you shouldn't have to lose your temper when someone jabs at you.

Letting people push you around does make you soft. But that's not neccessarily a bad thing. Some people intimidate you like that, some don't. Ron Artest's attitude has hurt his game. Dennis Rodman's attitude helped him. Yao Ming's lack of attitude hasn't really made a difference as far as I know. Tim Duncan doesn't have any attitude but he's one of the top NBA players. Other people trash talk and start fights.

Personally, I'm the type that starts fights. And I make fun of soft people. But I'm not sure it helps.

You take trash, you get in their face but when punches get thrown you think about the team first. I've only gotten in one fight my whole school basketball career and it didn't do anything (it was basically a draw, nothing really happened  )

i dont see why you all are getting on yao's case about being dunked on. i got 2 things to say about this.

1. almost every single player ever has been dunked on a ton of times(mainly the centers and power forwards). its not like this only has happened to him.

2. the guys who dont get dunked on alot usually dont because they are to chicken shit to guard what could be a facial. most players today only care about looking good so they wont ever let themselves get in a position to be dunked on. yao has no fear when it comes to trying to block people. he gets posterized now and then but so what, atleast he goes after them. he goes after these shots while most nba players just start walking under the hoop getting ready to inbound the ball.

It's because he is 7'5" and he should be able to block the shot instead of jumping like 1 inch off the ground. If he learns how to jump then he won't get posterized so damn much. If he can't use his height as an advantage then he needs to start jumping. I remember when 6'1" Earl Watson blocked 7'6" Shawn Bradley shot off the backboard and made him look like shit.

The guy that got shoved tried to rub it in, he guessed that since Yao is so 'soft', he could go over there and make himself look good. Yao destroyed him though. What did the guy do after he got shoved? Did he walk it off? Was there a T called?

Add Amare and Chapu (Andres Nocioini, although it wasn't exactly dunking over Yao) to that list as well.
