Yeah, it was already on. 7:30am eastern time. They beat them, marbury was on friggin fire. Scored 31 points (USA men record) and drained like 6 three's.

Despite Odom fouling out and Duncan in foul trouble.

Larry Brown called a timeout with 20 seconds left even though they were up by 11. The spain coach got pissed and started yelling at him. After the game Popovich was talking to him and they started arguing. Larry Brown walks over there to talk to him and he starts pointing at Larry shoving his finger in Larry's chest. Of course, Larry doesnt' like that. In the end spainish coach has to be restrained.

Marbury was awesome offensivley......6-9 on 3's. 31 points. Jefferson was 2-3 on 3's, Melo went 1-1, AI hit 3 or 4. Boozer played well too.

Spain even played man-2-man and i was like, ok Marbury and AI gone show some dribbling skills, and so they did, burnt the d bad and drained the deep 2. Lebron through up another weak shot that barely touched the ring

I planned on getting up for the game, but I had the wrong time & network (9:45 eastern time, which was China vs. Lithuania). Luckily, I got to see some of it, since it was rebroadcast on Telemundo. I couldn't understand most of the commentary, since I don't speak Spanish, but I did catch that they compaired the hairy dude from Spain to former pro-wrestler George "The Animal" Steel (HA!).

Gasol played pretty much a lone hand, and you could tell he was tired by the end - I don't think he took a rest the entire game, he dropped like 20 in the first half.

Spain switching to man defence, that just didn't work. As soon as they did it you could see the confidence in the Americans just exploding! Iverson and Marbury started dribbling and show boating and shit.

usa won a great game against the spain basketball team because spain can't shoot from the outside that good and that was the difference in the game. spain only had one player that could score the ball and that was pal gasol and he got tired at the end. stephon marbury finally played like the nba marbury and i was happy to see him have the best game so far in these tournaments.
