I stayed up to watch the farce that was Greece vs Australia last night. When Shane Heal retires we're absolutely fucked, Bogut was just as useless as Pero and we couldn't grab a rebound if we were getting paid. Oh wait, we are getting paid :?

A side note, the commentary is absolutely horrific. I mean Andrew Gaze is a former player so it's just guaranteed that he's not going to know what he's talking about but who the fuck is that other dumbass? I'm so sick of this prick, he tried to say all of the Greek players names with an accent and ended up sounding as greek as a kangaroo. Why can't he just say "Papadopolous" just like that, people know who he is and we move on but noooooo he has to say it as "PA-BA-DOBBO-LIS" he just sounded like he had down syndrome or somethin.

Twas a good game, looked like it might be close down the stretch but then Australia played like Australia.

I love Drewy, but that other commentator has go to go! He has no idea! Whenever a foul was called he thought it was on the wrong person. "Heal's angry with the call against him" right after Matt Nielsen got called for an illegal screen. Horrible.

The Aussies fell apart like a hooker after one too many nights on the job. They still did well to rally after that 0-14 start though :)
The Greek centre Papadopolous killed Bogut in the post... where was Paul Rogers...

Tony Ronaldson's shorts are way to big, somebody needs to have a word to him, and remind him that he's white, old, and no good!

The way this competition's looking right now, Australia still have a good chance on paper :)

If Bogut is a lottery pick I'm the tooth fairy. I've seen 12 year olds with better inside D then him. Tony Ronaldson should either get the first plane back to whatever club team he's playing this week and give his shorts to Pero Cameron. Gaze is ok apart from the fact that he says "he does" "they do" "they are" after every comment. The other guy's a retard, I saw one play where Neilsen I think it was got the foul and the basket, and everyone went nuts cause it was a big play and this dude goes "Neilsen to the line for two. Dumbass. Awell at least when we play the USA he wont piss me off with his player name pronounciations. God help us when we play Lithuania though.

It was a simply woeful effort. I recorded it (had to work so I wasn't staying up until 5 AM, and had no desire to get up that early either ;)) but I don't know if I'll watch it - I've seen the highlights (I use the term loosely) and the final score, which basically tells the story.

I don't know his name, but I know exactly who you're talking about. I completely agree. (Y)

Not much better, the team that played New Zealand a couple of years ago was pretty weak (in part because of the lack of guards). The team in the 2000 Olympics four years ago wasn't too bad actually. That was our best shot to win a medal and we blew it. Chris Anstey's missed layup in the open floor comes to mind as the "pretty much sums it all up" moment.
