GUYS TO LOOK OUT FOR

Postby Fresh8 on Mon Aug 02, 2004 8:55 pm

Sorry fellas...don't where this belongs....

But I was thinking bout players who could make the NBA and should be watched outr for at the next olympics. So here comes two players that I want to hype up!

There's this chinese kid named Yi Jianlian... I think thats his name. He's 16 and is 7 feet tall. You guys should watch him in two weeks...if you can- cause he's already a starter for CHina alongside Yao. You could say China is weak and so he might not be that great.

Believe me- Del Harris thinks he's a future 1st pick overall in 06. This kid had 7 boards and 5 blocks in ~28 minutes against a chinese loss to Serbia & M.... he shot 2-7 from the field but coaches said that was overlooked due to his part on the offensive boards.

He's supposedly real fast and has time to improve his game...obviously. He's a bit weak but he can still 'buff' up. So watch out for this kid!

ANOTHER player is Andrew Bogut of Australia. Had a solid year at Utah... I believe averages of 12 and 9 in ~25 mpg. He's just said he will go for his sophomore year at Utah. This kid is great and will be Australia's starting centre at the Olympics.

I think depending on Australia's gameplan- we may see a lot of him. After all he was nicknamed the Flying Emu after averaging numbers to the tune of 33ppg and 14rpg at World Juniors....

WAT ABOUT ALL THE OTHER COUNTRIES...ANY PROSPECTS TO WATCH AT ATHENS THIS YEAR?

I'm looking forward to see Argentine and Pistons rookie Carlos Delfino play. I think he'll start SF alongside Manu. Other then that i got nobody else, unless by some chance Darko plays

Darko is out for sure! Yes- Delfino will be the NBA prospect on Argentina's squad! He's supposed to be a better Manu Ginobli so we should look out for him!
