help me out. The new ish of Slam with that talentless black-as-bryant-gumbel fool on the cover has an article about ron artest in it. Why is he wearing #15? was that some kind of tribute to someone in preseason? any hoosiers with the scoop wanna hook me up on this?

i know artest wore #15 when he was with the bulls. i heard he is wearing #23 this season in honor of jordan . but i could be wrong. artest isn't even on the all star ballot this year. it would be great if he made the all star team- neither team in the all star game play defense until the 4th quarter. but if artest made it, i know he would be like a fly on sh*t on whoever he would be defending.

thanks guys. in his player bio on nba.com they have pics of him wearing 23, but Feb 03 Slam has two pics of him wearing 15.
I didn't know much about him until I traded pippen for him. Now hes leading the L with 2.5 steals a game in 8 minute quarters. much love to ron ron. go jail blazas.

Artest was wearing #15 last season with the Pacers and the Bulls, does that answer the question?

Someone became number 15 and Artest probaly switched just like Eddie Jones used 25 until someone retired the number 25 on the lakers so EJ had to use 6
