WHo is your favorite National tv anouncer?

As the title says, vote for your favorite national tv anouncers.

My vote has to go to Kevin Harlan.

My least favorite anouncer is Sean Elliot, because he rides to much Lebron James/Spurs stick

charles barkeley ... he's a very funny guy ... however, he does very few commentaries.
but my all time favorite is chick hearn (RIP) .... nobody could do it like him ... he was so good at what he did ... he made commentary look easy. However, it is not.

I don't think Sir Charles is an announcer. He, Greg Anthony, and that White guy are really funny on TNT, but I don't think I've heard him commentate any games.

I like Steve Kerr but I can't really point out any one person. Bill Walton is funny to hear, though he doesn't realize it.

I can't say for the US.

But in France, my favourite tv announcer is "George Eddy". He speaks french with a strong canadian accent, commentates everything (the game & the players's personal problems that we don't care) and becomes completely crazy after each point.

I still remember the Bob Costas, Isiah Thomas, and Doug Collins trio from the 98 Finals. That commentary was very insightful and went along with the game(s) well.

Man I'm goign for Marv Albert.

Bill Walton and Sean Elliot just say stupid things and are extremely biased. Bill Walton loves Shaq and the Lakers, Sean Elloit is just dumb and in love with Lebron.

Charles Barkley hardly even knows the players in the league, if that's your job you should know every one from Matt Carrol to Zendon Hamilton to Carlos Arroy and to Shaquille O'neal.

Steve Kerr just talks too much, you'd think he was the only commentator there, he's cool though.

i loved Hubie Brown. The guy is so smart, he would analyse plays and show the viewer how the team uses them. His commentary was also very good, he's like a coach. I always wondered what would happen if he coached some team now, and then he gets the MG gig and a COY trophy. I miss him on TNT

His name is Chuck Swirsky. I think you're confusing him and Jack Armstrong.

Btw, Chuck is one of my favorite commentators in the league.

whichever one of those is the one with the raspy voice that says "hello" on good plays deserves to be shot.

My favourite commentators in the league are Kevin Harlan and Marv Albert, but my favourite local commentator is the voice of the Raptors, Mr. Jack..err...Chuck Swirsky! :D

My least favourite commentators are those two guys that do Boston Celtics games Tommy something and the other guy. "I love Waltah!". Their unbelievably delusional and biased, "Marcus Banks has what it takes to be an All-Star in this league"... :? I hate the Celtics, where's paul_pierce_the_truth? I haven't seen him on tthe board since he predicted that Paul Pierce would win league MVP...

I've been listening to Marv since the Knicks glory years. He's still the best in the business. Does a solid job on football too. He may be a sexual freak, but aren't we all? Right on, Marv!

Least favorite? Bill Walton. Like the guy posted earlier, he's the Master of Exaggeration.
