Hunter I'll Suceed

Steven Hunter still believes he has a future in the NBA, but it just won't be in Orlando.

The third-year center has disappeared again from the playing rotation. While Keith Bogans, DeShawn Stevenson and Drew Gooden -- all in their fourth NBA season or less -- play major minutes, Hunter sees only mop-up time.

"I'm fine. I'm going to be in this league a long time," Hunter said Friday after he didn't play again in a loss to the Atlanta Hawks. "I'm puzzled by this -- it's an injustice if you ask me -- but I just need to be somewhere where I can develop. Maybe that's somewhere else

i saw this guy play when he was at depaul. he really didn't show much when he was there. i was pleased to see that he shot up the draft after some nice predraft performances.

but seriously, what was john gabriel thinking when he picked him so early? after looking at orlando's draft choices, they sure struck out that year.

anyway, i hope hunter latches on to a team that will give him a chance. who knows, maybe he's the next dalembert.. or brad sellers
