iverson done for season

Iverson is out for the rest of the season with cartilage damage in his knee.
sucks for the sixers but i guess its the best decision he has made this year.

The playoffs are pretty much out of reach now, so it would be foolish for Iverson to play in pain when he could be taking the time to rehab his knee. Normally I'm all for players playing through to the end, but rest and rehab is probably the best option right now.

anyway, it seems that the Sixers are now playing better without Iverson and Robinson :) Their winning rythm is like a playoffs contender now that their 2 best scorers are out. It's surprising but great, that indeed reminds the Jazz in some way, with no superstars in the team

Yeah, a lot of young players are getting some great playing time with both stars missing, like Dalembert, who continues to play well as of late. Although it is probably safe to say that they won't make it this year, this could also give the GM some ideas of other players, bench players, who could step up and fill the void while Iverson and Robinson aren't there. Because they aren't invinsinble, and they can't hold the team together themselves. This would be a good time to think, and for moves to be made in the offseason. Though, as an Iverson liker, I do wish him a hopefully good recovery for next year, as he is a great player with a great talent.
