Vin, back on his drugs. :x

He has been suspended since Jan. 23.

He had a good beginning of the year. Man, I thought he'd be back to business. Now he is back to jis old self as of last year.

the celtics are supposed to be free of bakers contract due to an agreement him and the celtics made. However the players association is all over this as players are supposed to have guarenteed money. Expect a compromise where baker gets paid the rest of this year, or gets half of his remaining salary, as it isn't likely either side will completely win....

After such a great start to the season i thought he would be over all this but looks like i was wrong. He has gone from a recent career high spot to a career low point :( Celtics woes continue

The Vin Baker saga just got sadder. It's sad because this is a problem that affects Vin (and his family) personally, not just professionally. Perhaps we've seen the last of Vin in the NBA.

I guess Baker is done trying to replace Walker for the Celtics now.

Vin Baker is finished once released by the Celtics. Like I said to Andrew earlier, it shouldn't be hard to find a power forward who doesn't produce, but doesn't have a drinking problem or a huge contract either which creates image problems for the franchise. He has been given more than enough chances, and though I like to see a guy come back and succeed after a tough time, enough is enough. Farkin look at the opportunities you get... you blow something like that and you're a dumb shit, plain and simple. Makes me feel sorry for a guy like Grant Hill (from a player's perspective not financially), who does the right thing and has worked his ass off but can't catch a break. Vin can't follow some simple orders, either that or he can't put down the bottle. That's weak. :x
