Have you ever been to an allstar game?

Just wondering if people could share there experiences here. If you actually met any of the players, what events you went to.. what you liked and disliked about the event.

I saw North Carolina play once with Vince Carter, Antawn Jamison etc. They didnt play that good at all but it was fun to watch. I also personally know someone who is Larry Hughes´s best friend

The All-Star game is 1 event, so I assumed he meant other events you went to or anything. And I could have go last year, but I live in the Netherlands and I didnt had the money

By events I mean either the actual game, rookie -softmore game, skills comepetion, slam dunk contest, or even jam session.

I should have gone a few years ago when it was in Washington, or two years ago when it was in Philadelphia. Now I'll have to wait before it is anywhere near me...
