Not quite sure why Philadelphia made this decision, usually it's good to give the coach at least one full season to see what he can do. Good news for Chris Ford though.

it sucks, i really like randy and its definetly not his fault that like half of the team got injured and they couldnt build a team chemestry. he definetely deserved a few more chances, AI got on really well with ayers and is extremely disappointed now...man this season is like a fuckin nightmare

i agree that ayers got the hook prematurely. ayers is nowhere the teacher or motivator that brown is, yet the team and the system they run is larry brown-ish
lol no offense, but this couldn't be any further from the truth. the sixers hired ayers this past offseason and fired him after only about a half season.
the bulls on the other hand... cartwright had just about 2 seasons combined worth of games coached before he got canned. also you have to factor in that new GM's normally bring in a coach of his choice, so it was just a matter of time before before BC was given the pink slip when Pax was hired
