Tim Thomas should be in the Top 10...

Did Layden take spending lessons from Donald "Oooh, that's shiny" Trump?

you can thank Layden for that. Got to wait anther 4 years for the Knicks team salary cap to finally go down when Houston come off the books.

Well said. Perhaps a couple of the honourable mentions/players also receiving votes are interchangeable with Wesley Person at 10 and Dikembe Mutombo is receiving money from both the Knicks and the Nets, but based on the numbers alone, I agree with the list.

i dont know, IMO ther realy is no overpaid player in NBA, exept for a few exeption on retired and Vin Baker,
Lets start with Z, He is 7'3 and has skill not seen too often in the NBA, sure he doesnt use them, buts as shown with J.O'neal and a few other players u never know when such a player will shine, plus he is a type of player u want on ur team even if he just stands around, coz if they woud.t give him such cash he would find a team that would. Same with all other Big men, maybe there r not woth the money statisticly but u as a GM would rather have them just hang around then have them as a problem when u play other teams.
Same goes to Allen Houston, he can shoot and his contract may be big but at that time there was no one else and GM could not afford not to have him.
Every player mentioned there is uniqe in theri own way, now its easy to say he's a bust but when u have such a good player and all he want is money that u knmwo u have u will take him. Because all those players mentioned have some sort of spescial skill on paper and u want to be that team that gets to see those skill in ur game.

its simple as that...
