The Clippers

Are they headed in the right direction?

In Brand, Maggette and Richardson they have 3 good offensive options... Plus they also have Jaric, Kaman, House, Wilcox, Ely, etc...

What can they do to improve even more?

Out of the main three guys Richardson can be pretty inconsistent, though he is talented.

Jaric is king of basketball. (y)

Whatever happened to Dooling?

Predrag Drobnjak had some good games at centre earlier in the year.

Perhaps they could package a couple of these young bench players for a an above average veteran, maybe a point guard?

I dunno...

changing cities might not be a bad idea. Clips are alwas talented but just some how never get enough wins to make the playoffs.

i think they are heading in the right direction. i would say the team's #1 priority is to upgrade the point guard position. jaric is nice but seems better suited coming off the bench. he doesn't handle ball pressure well enough to be a starting pg. dooling is a bust. i think the team has the resources to make a trade. for who? not sure. maybe someone like jamaal tinsley

I like the Clippers, one of my favourite teams. I think they are heading in the right direction, but im still wondering how Chris Wilcox will fit. I see him as a guy that could start but with Brand thats not gonna happen, and he is not a Center so he's not taking Kaman's spot. I think when Jaric (or if for him) and Kaman develop into solid players, and if they keep Richardson and he becomes consistent they will be a good team.

Their bench isn't that bad but they need better guard support on the bench, Dooling , House and Overton aren't that great, and Simmons is the only real sub at the 2 and 3 (Rice is old). Wilcox covers the 4 (and 5 sometimes), and if Ely can show he has some game, they are a pretty good team. They just need better subs for the guard and small forward positions. Drobnjak is also there but I don't know if they have any long term plans for him.

Also Jamaal Tinsley has regained the favour's of Carlisle and is back at the starting spot, he is also showing he can shoot the 3. Maybe it was the beard that convinced Carlisle.

they need to upgrade their pg spot..Doug Overton is not a good point to have..i suggest getting a pg who could fit into the team's and create good chemistry and run the team well...they don't need best ones...solid ones like Alvin Williams,Eric Snow will do just as fine
