My father and I will be live in the house at Continental Airlines Arena friday to see the Nets take on the Cavaliers. We have floor seats near the corner/side. This will be my second NBA game attended...

Just wanted to let you know. I'll be sure to write a report or answer questions for those of you who've never had the opportunity.

Damn, I was goin' to make a thread like this... Of course I won't be able to go watch a game live, but tonight I will see Dallas/Milwaukee on TV... I plain love when they show those underdogs teams on TV... Can I post my impressions here, too?

I'd like to ask you to post your impressions about LeBron, of course. This guy is pure magic, just one-in-a-lifetime player. I'd like to hear about DaJuan (will he play?) and Boozer, too.

In fact, I'd read anything you post, I like your writing style.

Thanks (Y)

I don't have any acces to watch NBA games at all since they don't show NBA games here in Sweden, my cousin just to send me some tapes all the way from NY, but he hasen't done that in this season.
Anyway, I'll try (like Martin) to dowload some (Not me but someone I know)

BTW: TNT is better, cause they got Kenny and Charles who are so funny :)

Tales,

Feel free to post your game impressions here if you want.

I'll be sure to post what it's like to see Lebron in play in person. I wish Dajuan was playing...he's a hometown boy...but he's still injured I think.

Thanks for the compliment :D.

Unfortunately...the tickets I bought are on the side opposite the player's benches...so I think we'll be behind the cameras. I wanted to be able to stare down Byron Scott though and attempt to make him quit through sheer force of will.

If I take pictures...I'll scan and upload them.

Thank you. I will be watching the game on TV, so let's see how LeBron goes...

Well, Dallas beat Milwaukee, and it was a good game to watch. The Mavs ended the first half winning by 20 (57-37, if I'm not mistaken), but the Bucks had a great run on the 3rd, just to tire their legs on the 4th.

Here are the starting lineups for each team:

Milwaukee:

Brian Skinner: he's underrated IMO. I didn't notice this guy was averaging 10 ppg and 7 rpg for the season until the TV showed it. He had like 12 points and 5 boards on the game, and played little, like 20-25 mins.

Joe Smith: another underrated guy, having his best season in years... averaging 11 ppg and 9 rpg, plus around 1,5 bpg... Played little, too... I dunno, maybe Porter doesn't like to go big and prefers to go Dallas-style... Played less than 30 mins and had a double-double, and a nasty block over some Dallas player, maybe it was Howard. Has a good looking and effective J from 15" in. Should have played more.

Tim Thomas: this guy could be something if he didn't park on the 3 pt line all game... He lacks aggressiveness, big time. Shot poorly, and had his same usual numbers... Around 12 points and 5 boards. Such a crybaby. He's having a career season, though.

Michael Redd: The Man on this Milwaukee team... One of the most underrated in the league. Nice stroke, post up game, defender. Had 20-something points, shooting 6-9 on threes! Damn! Unfortunately, team didn't got the ball on his hand in the 4th...

TJ Ford: rookie PG has Iverson-like quickness, but can't shoot and is abused on defense... Rebounds pretty well for a PG, though... Had like 4 or 5 boards... Played very little on 2nd half... Played less than 25 mins, in fact... Good passer... Left Smith and Skinner with good open looks to the basket... Gotta improve his shooting and he'll be out of the league in 4 years...

Desmond Mason (sub): Who said this guy can't shoot? Displayed a good form on his jumper... Had 17-20 points and like 5 boards, very aggressive player, went to the line a lot...

Tony Kukoc (sub): Old vet still has skillz... Outsmarts everyone and had the play of the game, on the 4th quarter, when he jumped near the 3 pt line, passed the ball to Jones and got it back under the basket, for a easy layup... Played around 30 mins, had like 10 points, 6 boards and 5 assists...

Damon "Basketball" Jones (sub): Took the job from Ford during the game... Good at seting up teammates for a J... Good shooter, but didn't hit many today... Had like 5 assists too...

For Dallas:

Dirk Noskillz: German Wonder prolly had a double-double today... Interesting is, he doesn't get many touches as he did last season... Walker dominates the ball so much, and Howard is a ballhog... Heh, Dirk got the job done again... Perfect form on his jumper... Playing center now... Weak D...

Antoine Walker: Had a double-double and a couple of assists tonight, but only got 1 three pointer (out of five tries... yeah, I count them, in Walker's case) and some careless passing... I don't like this guy, dunno why... He's so gay... Played the whole game and looks in so much better shape than last year.

Josh Howard: rookie F started the game and scored around 10 points and had nearly 8 boards, quite like that... Ballhogs a lot, thinks he has great crossover skillz but is really crap... Played a lot, around 30 mins...

Michael Finley: solid, solid player... Had at least 10 points, lots of boards, but shot poorly... He's the heart of the team.

Steve Nash: Played great tonight, posting 15 points, 6 boards and 12 assists (by my accounts)... Gets everyone involved... Solid J...

That's all... Hope you enjoyed...

It's ironic that Desmond Mason and Damon Jones are on the same team now...from what I understand they hate each other.

My dad and I are both pretty good at catching the t-shirts and miniballs that they fling into the stands so maybe I'll get one of those. If not I'll probably buy a rally towel from the souvenir stand. Too bad my Jason Kidd jersey is in Tallahassee.

The seats we bough were $95 a piece. We could have had center-court upper floor level seats to the Warriors game tonight but they were $150 apiece and I'd rather see Lebron from the corner than J-Rich from the dead center.

Redd is the man i reckon, hes quick release shooting style makes me go nuts everytime he nails the three, i just love it.
been a fan of him since his bench playing days in his 2nd season.
if milwaukee make the playoffs, he may get some mvp votes lol.
22ppg 5.6rpg 2.5apg 1.02spg.

and is the main reason why the bucks have won 15 games.

Hope you had fun, I know I did at the Suns-Sonics game. When you see the game live one thing I noticed is that everything the players do seems that much more impressive. When they jump you can really tell they have hops (especially Stephon, God Damn! I bet he drank his milk when he was little.) One thing I don't like is that (at least at KeyArena) they have microphones on the hoops, so you can hear all the sounds really loudly. Annoying, I can see where EA got the idea for their dunk noise now. They have the right ammount of loudness but the wrong sound.

I remember seeing a lot of Grizzlies game in the first row of the upper level, dead center. Those are some of the best seats ot get IMO, since they're a lot cheaper than the 1st level, you don't have anyone in front of you (at least in the 1st row) and you can still see the game relatively well.

Airballed a couple times. The comentators of ESPN in LA (that's Latin America :P ) talked about LeBron dribbling with his left hand. That he's not very good with it. He takes a couple dribbles and then pass the ball.
