Yet the task won't be complete until the olive branch is extended to the guy whose statue stands outside the United Center. There is talk that Jordan wants to retire as a Bull, now that Krause is no longer on the scene to prevent it. According to one wild rumor, Jordan could return as a reserve player if his former team gets into playoff contention after the All-Star break.

"Potentially, we may need another scorer," Paxson smiled.

Can this be true?

Imagine Jordan vs. LeBron hype!

It is a WILD rumour....but I wonder what would happen if Chicago and VERY OLD MJ made the Finals vs. the Lakers....hahaha- it'd be MJ Vs. Kobe/Shaq/Malone/Payton Hype!

That would be great. But I think it would be better if he just signed a 10-day contract.

I can see it now! The nba finals, game 6: Bulls- Lakers with the bulls up 3-2.late in the fourth with the scores tied, payton hits a 3 to give the lakers a 3 point lead.. then mike drives it on byron russel and cuts it to one.. then malone has the ball on the left block, mj steals the ball, doesnt call timeout.. iso with russell... hehe i think we know what happens next! Mike, do it brother! imagine what karl malone would be thinking if MJ does return :proud:

You know what? Part of me wants to see it. Part of me wants to see MJ play a few more games as a Bull and score enough to raise his career ppg average to 30.2. But this is just a rumour, and one that was bound to circulate given that Krause is no longer around and Scottie's back in Chicago.

it'd be MJ and Pippen (and why not Paxson too?) VS Kobe/Shaq/Malone/Payton

This would be very funny.

"Jordan with the facial on Russell again, oh my goodness, can you believe your eyes folks, can you believe he stripped the Mailman again?"

If this is true..Jordan has lost his marbles. However, it would be kinda cool to see him retire as a bull but there is no chance in hell they'll make the finals imo.

Dude its the east. If Detroit is the frontrunner, chicago with Jordan, Pippen, Crawford, Davis etc etc would not be amongst the contendors in the east?

I would love to see this (y)

MJ's first championship was against the Lakers, so the last should be too :D

I'd like to see him suit up now though, not wait till the end of the season (y)

Go MJ GO!!! (Sorry I'm just too biased to let it go, hehe)

Here's MJ recently at the United Centre, making plans with Benny the Bull, and Scottie Pippen. See that look in his eye? That's lethal!!! And in the bottom pick Pip just agreed to run the triangle, and Mj's reaction was "Oh yeah, that's what I'm talkin about!!! We're back!!" :D

This is just a dumb rumour so it probably wont happen, if so...then I wont take him serious again, and Im sure that I wont be the only one. retire...comaback....retire....comeback....retire...comeback, even if hes one of the best players of all time....people wont take the NBA serious anymore if this is gonna happen. He should just leave it as it is, the game is in good hands

Yeah great hands, but if Mike wants to play, and obviously can play on the nba level (maybe not on the previous Michael jordan level, but at least the nba level) whats to stop him? People don't critisise kevin willis for continueing to play do they?

because kevin willis doesn't retire every other season. also jordan made such a big deal of it being his last year in '03, it would not be good coming back and losing all credibility.

ps. whats with jordans jeans being so damn high? same with the '03 all-star game with his warm-up pants being so high along with the tucked in warm up shirt? when i saw that i was

It's old man's syndrome
Mj has always worn his stuff a little high I think. An old pic of him in some training stuff comes to mind. It looks a little funny, but he's just old school I guess... either that, or he likes to keep his boys warm.
He looks normal in his uniform though. Perhaps he's trying to look like Urkel before the game to fool the other team? Same with those jeans, he wants the NBA to think he's old and foolish Jordon, but really he's comming back to school everyone :D

I can see it now..... Scott skiles meets Shaq in the parking lot and smashes shaq's knee with a crowbar. (If you didn't know, Scott skiles hates Shaq and they got in a fight once) Next the Bulls sign Dennis Rodman and MJ. The dynasty is restored and MJ once again robs Malone and GP of their rings.

Whats up with these "I can see it now" fantasy stories?

I can see it now.....The Bulls aks Phil to return and coach MJ again, Phil says "hell nah....I wanna win a championship right here, not waste my time"....then on the 1st game with the Lakers vs Bulls, Karl bumps MJ in the head with 1 of his super elbow attack accidently. The bump on his head made him loose his mind and forgot that he made a comeback with the Bulls, so then he decided to go home to ice his bald head and continue thinking about a possible comeback

lol.. I love it when lakers fans talk trash about MJ. If it wasn't for MJ then Kobe wouldn't have the type of game he does. Jordan's style of play spawned so many wannabe's that it's not even funny. IMO MJ can play until he's crippled I don't care. The man made so much $$$ for the nba that he should get a free pass anytime he wants to play.

I can see it now... Shaq is arrested for not paying child support for one of his many children. Karl Malone falls off the Harley. Kobe is jailed for "Kobe does Colorado". Gary Payton dislocates his shoulder in the locker room when trying to throw a dunbell which was too heavy for him.

Nah just joking...

Malone would never fall off the bike.

lol Steven but seriously MJ shouldn't consider coming back again with anyother team...If he decides...i hope he'll change his mind about Bulls and Come to Raps

I can see it now...MJ signing a two year contract with Raps worth 1 million...

man, that would be realy awsome
to see MJ come back once again and play. it would be truly awsome.
i don't think he should get to much play time though, he might be a little to rusty to be starting and so on... as it was said, a back up player...
a crowd pleaser

+ if now Rodman is coming back as he said he would, imagin what team he would sign with
maybe they could get Kerr also (if he hasn't retired)

does MJ really need a another retirement party ....No how many has he had??? ...come on Mike ...we all know your the best ever in your prime ...but fuck ...when you retire ...you're suppose to retire ...make up your damn mind and stop stealing the damn spotlight from all the other up-coming stars.....i really dont feel like listening to Marv albert ..and Bill walto talking about MJ ...although I want to hear ...Marv Albert ...say "MJ WIth the Facial over o'neal" or "yes and it counts " but unless its a tear drop shot then ...i dont think sooo ...its time to let the game goo and go play some golf...your time is done
