over achievers

what are the top 5 teams you think are over achieving there expectations so far this year?
My picks are:

1. Utah Jazz- no1 gave them a chance, right now they trailing Dallas by .5 games for the division lead
2. Milwaukee Bucks- same as Jazz, but being in the East helps
3. Denver Nuggets- Really surpising, I didn't think Carmelo effect would be this big
4 Golden State Warriors- After the whole Jamison for Van Exel trade you'd think they trying to rebuild, but they doing pretty good right now.
5. Memphis Grizzlies- I knew they were going to be better this year, but right now they are in a position to actually make the playoffs.

1. Jazz - same as you
2. Bucks - same as you
3. Seattle - No Ray Allen, but a guy named Flip has been putting up some good numbers Downside: Losses have come against Atlanta, Miami and Utah.
4. Toronto - I thought they would have a record more like Miami, but they came on strong esp. the first part of the season and came up with two wins (yea two!!!) over the Nets. Downside: Scoring 78 points a game isn't going to cut it.
5. Nuggets - Carmelo!!! Who wouldv'e thought the Nuggets would be in 4th place, really? No one. They've eat San Antonio Sacremento, and thumped Phoenix by 30 Downside: Carmelo has been inconsistent.

A week ago I would've put the Hornets up there. At that point they were 9-3, had beaten the Lakers, and losses to New York and Miami never help. Anyways, B.D!DDY 4 MVP

Edit: The Hornets may very well make it on to my list, next games (in order) are: Orlando, Orlando, Houston, Chicago, Milwaukee, Phoenix, Golden State, LA Clippers and Denver. They could go 9-0 there, but more like 7-2 or 8-1. They could be as high as (The Blazers  ) 20-6, more likely to be 19-7 I say.

1. Utah Jazz without question. They are just playing with a lot of enthusiasm, a lot of heart, never letting anybody else make them second guess themselves.
2. Denver Nuggets. I can't believe Utah and Denver are ahead of San Antoino and Minnesota in the standings.
3. Milwaukee Bucks. Michael Redd has really stepped up, and TJ Ford is contributing nicely. Terry Porter could be in the running for coach of the year.
4. Seattle Supersonics. Slowed down a little lately but beat Rockets to stay above .500 (as a Rockets fan, I'm going NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO  ). Ronald Murray has been a eye-popper.
5. New Orleans Hornets. Without Mashburn, I didn't think they would do so well. Baron Davis has been monstrous.

The biggest surprises (overachievers and underachievers) have come out of the west. I guess everyone felt the west was pretty much mapped out but it certainly has turned out otherwise.
