Your All-Star game voting

I know there is still like quite a time before the all-star weekend
beginns, but I've already voted, so now I wonder:

What players did you vote for to the All-Star game, and
why did you vote for these players?

My Western All-Star voting

Center:Yao Ming. Why: He's having great season with all-star stats, has
gained some weight which makes him stronger under the basket.
This all-star game he'll be noticed (unlike last one)

Forward:Kevin Garnett. Why: He's one (if not) of the best players
in the league, he is spectacular and fun to watch.
He can score, rebounding, assist. he is one
of today players that can play any position he wants.

Forward:Zach Randolph. Why: This is his brakethrough season, he was
great last season but this season he finally gets the minuts he
deserves which makes him a excellent choice.

Guard:Gary Payton. Why: The glove is still going strong (35)
in LAL, I've always liked him cause he is a relieable force.
Givning great stats in just 30-5minuts a game with 3 other all-stars.

Guard:Ronaly Murray. Why: Most improved player of the year if
he still keeps going. Last season I only knew his name and team,
this year I know he's scoring 20points+

My Eastern All-Star voting

Center:Ben Wallace. Why: Best defensive player in the league,
he may not score 15 or 20points but he's second ranked in
blocks per game and third ranked in rebounds per game.
It will be interesting to see Big Ben VS Yao Ming under the basket.

Forward:Jermaine O'Neal. Why: Without Brad Miller, Jermaine
is still able to take his team Indiana Pacers
to a great record (even better).
Jermaine is scoring 20 points, grabbing 10rebounds
and blocking 3times a game in just 36minuts (!!!)

Forward:Vince Carter. Why: Carter is back, after a injured season
he is back this season taking it hard to the hoop.
Vince is the best dunker in the world and what would a
all-star game be with out spectaculars dunks
and who is better in those than Vince Carter?

Guard:Allen Iverson. Why: The player that sacrifies his body most in
the league, is without a doubt AI. He is throwing himself
to the basket like a crazy animal, with out any fear at all.
Scoring most the league this is no competition.

Guard:Baron Davis. Why: Like VC, Baron has done a great comeback,
posting his best stats ever. Baron is one of the greatest player
this season, scoring 24points, grabbing 5rebounds and 8assist + 40% 3point shooting.
MVP candidate.

Who i think deserves to be on da team this year

west
shaq, yao, brad miller
kg, td, randolph, peja, lewis, corey, gasol, ak47
kobe, payton, nash

i can't think of which guards will START in the west( by voting) other than KB..
also.. tons of forwards in the west.. kg and td will probally start from voting..
randolph and peja will make it from the coaches.. but lewis, gasol and sum1 from utad should have a good chance.. seattles got an okay record same with grizz and utad.. corey is having a great year.. but he wont' have a chance b/c of all the other forwards before him

question: does the best team in each conference record-wise get to choose 2 all-stars? therefore malone and payton will get on? wut if malone dun wanna play? r they gonna pick like devean george?!?!?!

east
big big, jmagloire
VC, joneal, kmart, shareef, artest
bd, pierce, iverson, kidd, mcgrady, redd, billups

there will be soo much disappointment when da team is announced for the east.. big ben is a legit all-star center.. magloire should make it in...
good thingthey put VC as a forward.. or else there will be even more players left out
the guards.. starters will probally be Lebron James and Iverson from the votes..
baron davis is having a sensational year.. pierce/mcgrady should make it. kidd is kinda quiet but ya 4 triple doubles and still best pg in da league.. that shoudl cut the list.. redd and billups deserve to be all-stars too

No they don't. All of the coaches in the conference vote for the players in their respective conference about who should make the team. The benches are picked from that. In case of a starter's injury, the all-star coach picks a player from the bench to start. Then their bench slot is given to the next highest coach's vote. But dont quote me on that last bit.

Ben Wallance in the biggest overated piece of shit.

KMart, Abdur-Rahim >>>>>>>>> Wallace.

KMART
PPG RPG BPG
18.2 9.5 2.1

ABDUR-RAHIM
PPG RPG BPG
20.8 9.7 .5

And here are Ben numbers
PPG RPG BPG
9  12 3

I get sooooo fucking mad when wallace starts a all star game and martin and abdur rahim dont even get selected. 9 points per game is not worth a all star starting spot. Dont tell me about defence ben only averages 2 more boards per game than martin and abdur rahim. Martin is a good shot blocker too. I also think martin is a better one on one defender than wallace. FUCK YOU GO TO HELL YOU OVERATED PIECE OF SHIT

East:
O'neil=Play center couse wallace is the MOST OVERATED PLAYER EVER
Martin/Rahim=Both 20, 10 numbers
Carter=playing good this year
AI= McGrady not a leader
Kidd or Baron davis= Both playing very good.

abdur rahim has been playing well after getting off to a slow start (due to offseason back surgery?). he does warrant some all star consideration even if he does collect good stats, mostly of the offensive variety, for a poor team.

i'd much rather have someone like wallace on the all star team then 'reef though

Some one like Abdur Rahim is extrelely boring to watch IMO. What is the all star game with interesting and explosive moves by players. It would be pointless to watch an all-star game if it is not interesting so thats why he usually doesn't get high votes like other players even though he puts up all star numbers.

I think a combination of talent and excitement are best for players to achieve high votes in all star games.

eg. Carter, T-Mac, and Kobe

/means alternate between them

EAST

Guard: Micheal Redd/Jamal Crawford and Baron Davis

Forward: Vince Carter and Jermaine/Carlos Boozer rotate (don't know why they still have antione in the east)

Center:Ben Wallace (overatted???) and every other day Eddy Curry

kenyon is not averaging 20 and 10 more like 18 and 9

WEST

Guard: Quentin/Ginobili and Starbury

Forwards: Zach Randolph and Marion (i know garnett will get votes anyways)

Center: Shaq/Erick Dampier.... i wasn't feeling Yao beating him, I like Yao and all but he didn't deserve it unless Amare deserved the all star game too

i have league pass watch evey game i have time for

i just picked them so they would get votes......we know no one is gonna pick those guys common you can't embarass them like that getting no votes but the ones they put in themselves

For West I'd Rather have Marion and Garnett and Randolph is good

For the first few weeks i voted

The Baron, Arenas, Carter, Jermaine, Wallace

AND

Franchise, Starbury, Garnett, Duncan and Shaq

but we all know garnett, duncan, wallace, jermaine, tmac are going to get votes and carter, marion and the baron are my favourite players so had to keep them

so is KG but he doesn't need em

and Shareef, Mr Die in clutch is good but i dunno just doesn't get votes i mean he's right there with Toni Kukoc????????????????????????????????

Reggie Miller beats Micheal Redd

i understand Ricky Davis cause he's a dunking machine but miller?

and scottie pippen in the forwards...yes we want to watch and old man play defense

i'm surprise and happy that lebron won't get in the all-star game at this pace.. with kidd, baron davis, mcgrady, pierce, iverson and redd doing better than him ..

as for shareef.. hes fine.. he should make the all-star team once in his career.. and mite be this year
with VC and o'neal starting at forwards...
kenyon and artest deserves it this year too.. shareef in my opinion is right there after kenyon, artest...

i don't get how pippens still gettin votes
and i'm surprise yao ming isn't ahead of shaq in voting.. but i'm also glad cuz shaq is a better player until yao plays another 3-4 years maybe
