I'm a big fan of Harrison Barnes. While he's at best an average starter, he fulfills the archetype of a modern stretch 4 to a T and just seems like a nice dude. The Kings probably figured that their cap space this Summer was of little value and opted to get a guy who can help them make a playoff push, and perhaps help fill the leadership void left by the baffling Iman Shumpert trade.
I'm absolutely blown away by the work of the Dallas Mavericks' front office over this past year. They've managed to acquire two young franchise cornerstones while generating a bunch of cap space, facilitating a farewell tour for Dirk and fielding a relatively competitive team.
