It can't be avoided that teams eventually get abandoned when the managers see they have no chance of making the playoffs, it happens in most leagues especially with a high number of participants like ours.
I think last season was even more active than the season you won it, should put an asterisk on your championship tbh.

There's also auction draft, but I think that wouldn't be fair to those who don't show up to the draft, so we'll stick with the standard draft.
Also debating whether to cut pick time to a minute. Shadow asked for it to be cut last year and I didn't do it but then he wound up being the one taking up all the time
