My list is similar.

1. The play of Ronald Murray.
2. Orlando's record
3. LeBron's play - better than I expected, but not as good as some predicted
4. Indiana holding the best record in the league
5. The low scores and the number of teams hovering around .500

1) The fact that the second lowest ranked teams in the Pacific Divison(LA and Phoenix) and the lowest ranked teams in the Midwest Division are both tied with Philiadelphia, the number one ranked team in the Atlatic Division.

2) Ronald Murray steppin' it up, along with the Sonic's success

3) Tracy McGrady still putting up insane numbers in the points category lately, along with the Magic's downfall

4) Where the hell is Darko?

5) The Lakers and Mavericks sharing the ball just fine(not with eachother but within eachother)

1. Flip Murray
2. Lebron forgetting that he's supposed to suck this year.
3. The Jazz also forgetting.
4. Luke Ridnour being good. The Sonics as a whole actually.

1. Boston trading Antoine Walker.
2. Both Golden State and Boston giving up great players, for players with injuries to their knees and taking guys like Chris Mills and Popeye Jones.
3. New Jersey adding Alonzo Mourning and playing worse.
4. San Antonio being 7-6, behind Denver in the standings.
5. All the best mentioned; Seattle, Ronald Murray and Orlando's disappearing act.

Honorable Mention: New Orleans without Jamal Mashburn 9-3.

Who ever said LeBron would suck?

Some may have said, myself not included, that he may come along a little slower than expected, also it should be noted that his numbers should be like Michael Jordan's to balance out with the hype, but I don't remember anyone saying he would suck.

I find your comment on LeBron James to be trite, clichéd, common, cornball, corny, drained, dull, exhausted, a familiar tune, flat, musty, old hat, ordinary, pedestrian, routine, run-of-the-mill, stale, stereotyped, tired, uninspired, unoriginal, used-up, warmed-over, worn-out and spam, but these are just my opinions, don't let it bother you. :P

A simplified...vernacular statement. Most everyone thought that Lebron would be developing this year and thus not that good.

You may not have gathered as much by now...but my pet peeve is unnecessary nitpicking of people's posts. I could point out that Paul Pierce capitalizes the first letters of his first and last name...which you don't seem to have picked up on in your user name...but I don't. Because it's irritating. And when posters do it to other people it irritates me. A lot.

 No, I just don't get why the whole "thin ice" thing if he was just making a comment on your opinion...how are we supposed to know when you are posting as a mod or are posting as a normal forum member? Look man, lots of people dont like the stuff I post, but I dont keep saying "IM MOD SO WATCH OUT, I DON'T LIKE WHAT YOU'RE POSTING BOUT MY POSTING" it gets lame and annoying, make up your mind, are you posting as a mod or as a person with an opinion? His comments were his opinion about YOUR opinion and because you have the Mod position and you didnt like what he said bout your comments...he's on thin ice? What kind of bs is that?? You're mod, fine...dont abuse the power given to you, it was his opinion (WHICH he said!!) about your opinion and said not to worry bout it. Wanna punish me? Go ahead :D . I don't care, but I do think its ABSURD no one can disagree with you. I agree with PP, I find your post bout LJ tried etc... See, I disagree...did I do sumthing wrong??

Yeah, you might want to watch that a bit, EG. Mikey D. was just kidding around, giving you a little light-hearted jab...I thought that would have been evident with the overabundance of adjectives in his post....the nitpicking thing, I can see, but really, it's not that big of a deal....

My main surprises were:

1. The Magic playing horribly
2. Carlos Arroyo and R. Murray being studs
3. LeBron being much better than I, or anyone, expected
4. Indiana having the best record
5. B. Diddy being the best player right now

Be fair. Be firm when necessary, but do not impose on a member's rights. Try not to allow any personal bias to control moderating decisions.

Being a mod in this forum is a vicarious position.
The fact that people like myself and Psycho Jackal post on numerous subjects and are vital parts to keep the forum popular, is overlooked by those in charge. Sure we could stop and the forum goes on, but forcing us out would hurt the forum.

I have been around these forums for around 3 years and it's always been the same. Don't mess with the mods or administration. I understand that some control over the boards is logically unavoidable, but at what costs?
Sure my remarks are brazen at times, but cheap and shallow remarks that have no warranty, should be addressed as such. On one hand you have a mod making a joke about "Old School Fool's" post being 3/5th's spam (which it was and off the subject), but not really needing any comment from the powers, so either it was moderation or it was a joke, whichever, it was no different than my remarks, more subtle perhaps, but not much more than two jokes.

But this has been going on for 3 years, and other than a few malevolent statements from some regular users, all my problems have come from obstinate mods, whom refuse to delineate consistant policy or adhere to their own rules, leaving themselves with shallow lip service and negation
of such rules. Consequently and accordingly they are forced into a dubious position.

They then begin to moderate in a way that is based on persuasion and vanity, not moderation, practicality or constructiveness.

Being paragon, tacit or notable are not the ways of the mod in this forum, they are full of narcissism and egocentric digression.

To moderate is supposed to be avoiding extremes of behavior or expression or observing reasonable limits. A moderator is supposed to a be nonpartisan.

On to the tenuous and improbable....

Being both a moderator and "regular" forum poster.

This is so preposterous, I can not even begin to say.

Either post and leave everyone alone to the point of danger, or join the regular forum users or only be a moderator. To be offended by someone else "armchair moderating", to not being able to take a joke, is so ridiculous and full of wallow. Please either lead by example and use some tact or just throw-in your duties as a moderator.

Dig hard for posts in need of appropriate action, not just start flexing away with no regard to poise or equilibrium, judge like a hero, like an insightful leader, not like a flailing unrefined brutish gorilla.

In the end, the person with the most power gets the last word, but in the meantime, I have started my manifesto for the forum user.

If I have to choose between anarchy and oppression, I choose anarchy.
