Harold Miner He retired....in 1997 i Think....He was in NBA Live 1997 Though

Harold Miner was last seen at the Raptors' training camp prior to the 1996/1997 season. As Old School Fool mentioned, he called it quits after only four years and two slam dunk championships.

Now in this season they both play in Russian Super league in Kaasan Unics.

I live in Holland and there is a basketball competition too ( yeah i'm not kiddin, even in Holland) When I was watching a game of my hometown team in the first division, I suddenly recognised a player from the opponents and I was like: 'Who is that guy?'
It was Terrence Stansbury, former NBA player (forgot what team, thought Pacers) and he played in the dunk contests from 1985, 86, and 87. I recognised him b/c I had downloaded the Top 10 Dunkers of all time from the dunk contest and he was in it, higher than Kenny Thomas (10) and Larry Nance (9), tied with Shawn Kemp for the 8th spot.
Anyway he played for BS Weert in the Dutch league.

Today I've downloaded a clip of 1995 McDonalds High School All-Star Game and there was a guy named Ryan Robertson starting for the West alongside Albert White, Derek hood, Kris Clack and Kevin Garnett.
In the Dutch league one of the best players is a white American guard named Ryan Robertson, maybe he's the same.

So I might live in Holland, I've still seen some good players.
If I was born earlier I could have seen Vince Carter (and others now-NBA-players) play in Haarlem in the HBW (Haarlem Basketball Week). I live in a small place in the south, where we had a famous international tournament a couple of years ago (when I wasn't playing b-ball yet) where players like Dan Gadzuric and Francesco Elson actually played, IN MY SMALL FARMERSTOWN!!!

I will check if there are any ex-NBA-players in the Dutch league now, if I find someone I will tell you.

You can't help but feel for Demarr Johnson. He was supposed to start for the Hawks that season, until he got in the car accident.

Some of these guys had some promising (but short) careers in the NBA. I thought Smush Parker was gonna be good, along with Trajan Langdon(could flat out shoot!). Omar Cook must be an NBDL veteran now.

Terence Stansbury. I believe it was the great "Statue-of-Liberty" dunk he did. Just inside the free throw line, he could hold the ball up with one hand, and do a 360, looking like a revolving Statue of Liberty.

In this list you can see a lot of bursts... And for Dermarr Johnson, he's dominating in ABA... I guess he slowly recovers and finds his old level, before his accident.

I know it has little or nothing matter to this thread, but I've seen Leandrinho (Phoenix) and Alex (San Antonio) play, live, last year & so... I live in Americana, southeast of the state of São Paulo, in Brazil, and have family in the city of Rio Claro (something like "Bright River"), and I've seen Askia Jones play. He was a rookie guard with the Timberwolves when Webber, Howard and Penny (amongst others) were rookies. Best player I've ever seen play, live. He dominated here, had a game like Grant Hill's.

Also, the city I live in (Americana), has a pretty traditional female basketball team. I've seen Adrieene Goodson play, she was fantastic. I think she played in the WNBA.

Also, I've seen Cynthia Cooper play too. Both Cooper and Goodson played for our team. Cooper was fantastic, absolutely amazing, too bad she left the team during the middle of a season to go for the US in what would later be the inaugural season of the WNBA.[/b]
