i'd say Tyreke & Cousins were pretty solid picks. Tyreke had been injured often and hasn't really panned out after a stellar rookie season. I feel like in an alternate universe he could've been a multi-time all star and wouldve kept that production up. Also, notice the more underwhelming picks in 2013 and beyond after the current owner stepped in.

With a prime Cousins and none else, this Kings team would make at most 30 wins. They really needed a change so they took the biggest risk.
So you went mediocre since 2006, but why not go mediocre again for a few years?
