If you can steal 1 or more cats from Sevin's Team, you'd have a shot but even then it's still a long shot depending how tie breaker works between you and Sevin. And it seems you are kinda far away from stealing one of those cats you're losing at the moment. Best of luck to ya for next 2 days.

Has anyone noticed? homicide now is a definitely the best DARK HORSE. Also Emel Jobiid is doing not bad, coming to a new life. Likely they will be my first round opponent. :facepalm2:

After losing Bosh I've started to get better again surprisingly. Playoffs should be fun, if we meet I hope to make a revenge on you for the loss earlier in the season and eliminate you from three-peat, just like the Spurs did with the Heat (total demolition).

I think tiebreaker simply goes to whoever was better before the tie. So the team that was better the week before the tie gets it

I don't know. You had a lead against airBerlin in the past but failed to make the playoffs with equal record iirc.

Thank you, but nobody, I mean, ain't nobody in this league is going to stop me now that I have Kemba and Nurkic back. I will see you guys next year as Quad-p(H)eat. :cheeky:

I finished with 1 more win that Q that season.

I have struggled with injuries the majority of the season and it looks like that's how I'm going to finish the season too.

PhatGeezer, you still need to play consolation playoffs which is pretty much a playoffs for 9th - 16th teams. Good luck.

I am getting a bye in the first round against Emel Jobiid. I like this playoffs schedule. Second round pretty much will decide my 3peat fate. Gonna be tough but I believe in justice and righteousness.

But then again participating on it is like making love with a blow-up doll or necrophilia... By the way, thanks for rooting for me man (Y) I was actually considering to drop Jimmy Buckets so that you can get him but then I realized if I did that, Q will give me an indefinite ban on this league and I will never be able to do that Brock Lesnar-like comeback next year...

Now that 3 of my top picks are all injured (Ibaka was holding it up until now, Bosh and Holiday went down before) this could turn out to be a massacre (I don't even have a healthy player to put in instead of Ibaka). It's going to be shitty week with Redick-Mirotic-Crowder now as my new big 3.

Hawks getting rested like the spurs now. Korver has been hot for me but his nose getting broken might be a blessing in disguise

2 days into the playoffs, surprisingly Q is keeping up with Gordie. I don't know how long this will last though. Nick's... Nick. 2nd round match up between Nick and Gordie will be breathtaking.

And I warned this. homicide is a dark horse. UrBangCholboi is just unfortunate to run into him in the first round. Absolutely no perk for having a 2nd seed when 7th seed is lava hot. This one could go either way. But I can tell you this, I would prefer to face UrBangCholboi than homicide at this stage in the 2nd round.

Quite amazed how homicide is butt kicking urBangCholBoi's team. And that's with Isaiah Thomas not logging one single minute and James Harden scoring 50 ass whooping points the other day.

But I'm also butt kicking my opponent hard with Greg Monroe DEAD for the week. It will be a great semi finals next week.

BTW, looks like Ryan Anderson would never come back. :facepalm2: And Kevin Martin is sitting out, Monroe unsure. These trades I made got me here but...

Seriously? Dropping Manu for Willie (right after Manu makes a solid comeback from injury), lol. Doesn't this smell like a tampering, Q?

Nick gets a free upgrade for the Finals, or could be Gordie if nobody's paying attention.

Hot damn, I feel sorry for homicide. His best two players are dead this week.

Ofc, gordie gets his manubili for the finals, a nice gift from who else, lol. I am asterisking your championship now, gordie. It doesn't take much to alter outcome between teams like ours and that probably might have done it especially with some of my key guys injured. (N)

Hey guys, we are in the last week here and I gotta say this has been a pretty good year, as all teams were very close for most of the season. The stat changes this year seemed to be for the better, and I think one change I will make is to cut rosters down. I'm thinking that we'll have maybe only 13 total per team but play 8 or 9. Still haven't decided yet.

Also, one other change I'm going to make after this year's mad scramble for anyone that plays is that we will have continuous waiver pickups since we have weekly rosters and you wouldn't be able to play your pick ups until next week anyways. This basically removes the free agents setting and everyone will be on waivers at all times. Waivers will be processed every Sunday to give yourself a chance to set your lineup for Monday.

Can I suggest couple things?

- Shorten the trade evaluation period:
Currently it's way too long. Reducing it by a day won't hurt. You can tell if trade is a dupe or not on a first glance anyway, you don't need full 3 days to evaluate them.

- Waiver process date to be Saturday instead of Sunday
1 day period to adjust roster is too restrictive. Give at least 1 extra day so lazy people have better chance at adjusting.

Congrats to the champion. Too bad I couldn't hold up my end and give a better challenge. But hey that's how fantasy basketball goes.

It was fun to get back into it this year. That may change next year haha

There are a few committed owners here. I think something more than bragging rights should be at stake... At least for those few. just something seems off balance here. It's a private league for users from a message board but I think some make it out more than that. You could lump me in that group sometimes as I was bothered by certain things but I realized I needed to take the foot off the gas pedal

Thanks to Q for running the league and putting up with the shananigans

Grats to u too for a great season. Also Nick's won 3rd place for 3 years in a row. Neat.

But I don't think I'm coming back next season. Could be for the better.

Props to Q for awesome job. This league's a success. Keep at it, Q.

Seems like history has been made with the first 3-peat in NLSC league history, kind of like the way Nate Robinson used to win all those slam dunk contests.

I'd like to give the Hustle Award to both geezer and mondays.
Yes we were amused and maybe even entertained with their trade carousel to each other but it showed that they were determined to be active just to be able to compete in the league to the bitter end.
You guys are the best, like Rocky and Apollo Creed.

The Asshole Award goes to that guy who quit on his team and almost had a garage sale of his players until Q stepped in. In the silent words of Andrew Harrison...
