That ones easy, Vitaly Potapenko (spelling?). I remember he one of the first international players I heard of playing college ball in the US. I thought it was oretty wierd at the time, because I had only just started watching/following college ball closely.

1. Played for Louisville, went undrafted in '06.
2. Often sat out short periods during games suffering from cramps, because of his extremely low body fat percentage.

edit - sorry he answered already

Taquan Dean. He's another Jersy product, from Neptune. He wasnt even the best player on his team, the forward that played with him, Brian Showers, was more highly recruited. But his parents died and he stopped playing after that to take care of his siblings.

1. This G/F played for Steinert high school in Hamilton, NJ. He dunked on me when i was a HS freshman, and shook the backboard off its moorings.

2. Transferred to Duke after spending time at Rutgers. Drafted by the Celtics.

Yeah, it was Taquan. I wish he was in the league, I loved watching him at Louisville.

Only guy I can think of transferring from Rutgers to Duke any time recently would be Dahntay Jones, but I have no idea if he's from NJ and I don't remember if he was drafted by the Celtics. I can't remember him anywhere else but Memphis.

If that's right, heres mine:

1. Led his college team to a fantastic record during his final year in college.

2. Was a lottery pick in 2004, the highest a player from his college has ever been drafted.

Yeah its dontay, he was drafted by celtics but never played for them. He was traded for troy bell and kendrick "sloth" perkins on draft day.

Couldn't this apply to both Josh Childress and Emeka Okafor?

I just repeat mine...
1. 2003 CBA Playoff MVP
2. Born in Denver, 36 years ago.

^

Yeah true, the answer was Josh Childress.

As for yours, I remember you mentioning Darrick Martin as the CBA Playoff MVP a while ago, so that's my guess. I don't know anything about the CBA though so I could be way off.

EDIT: Forgot to post mine, if my answer is correct that is:

1. Averaged 40+ PPG, 18 RPG and 7 BPG during his senior year in HS.

2. Drafted in the first round by the Boston Celtics.

Yeah, it's "MVP."

I know this one, I remember his gaudy stats, but I can't think of another one at this moment.

Daryl Dawkins.

1. Small G out of Providence drafted in the by Wizards in 97. Only played one year and now plays in the IBL.

2. NBA Street named a move after him.

Ok it was a good guess anyway of mine, but both of you with Daryl Dawkins were wrong too....
EDIT: something got messed up in the quoting...anyway Sauru and maceo24 it's not Daryl...

Oh and bye the way is it Ronnie Brewer? If it is than i'll just repeat mine...
So look above...(dunking and children)

Marcus Slaughter? (I don't know if any other SDSU players went undrafted though, but he fits the criteria) He ended up making a team, either the Nets or Heat from what I remember.

1. A current NBA point gaurd and former lottery pick, born in Columbus, Ohio.

2. Brother died of a heart attack while in High School.

my guess would be Latrell Sprewell....I know he played at Alabama, was drafted in '92 I think, & was an All-Star by his 3rd year ('94), so that fits....would've missed '96 due to suspension for choking Carlesimo....

An easy one:

1. I played at the same college that Derek Fisher would later star at.
2. I replaced MJ as the Bulls' starting SG in the 2003/04 season following MJ's 1st retirement.

Pete Myers. Bastard :P

1. I averaged almost 20 points in my junior year (97-98) at the Uni. of Pittsburgh.
2. I now play in Israel.

Silly extra clue: I was ejected in a game during the 1999-2000 season for hitting Steve Nash in the back of the head on an open lay-up attempt.

Man, I couldn't remember his first name to save my life, but I know his last name is Cummings.

About the extra clue, if my answer is correct, are you sure it was the 99/00 season? I stopped watching the NBA after MJ's last game as a Bull, and didn't start following very closely again until the 2003 NBA Draft - yet I still remember this incident.

I don't know if half a name counts, but if no one else gets it heres my question:

1. Is hated by hoards of Chicago Bulls fans for his numerous stupid actions against the team.

2. Starred at Xavier, won his first NBA championship during his first year with his current/latest team.

It's Vonteego, son of former NBA player Terry.

and X, that statement you made doesn't make sense how he replaced MJ as SG after his 1st retirement in 2003-04? I know what you mean now, but it was confusing.
