Terry Mills. While we're listing middle to upper-level talent players from the early 90s who didn't really make a name for themselves enough to be remembered... Mookie Blaylock, Chris Gatling, Felton Spencer, Nick Anderson, Mario Ellie, Detlef Shrempf, Vinnie Del Negro, Lee Mayberry, Brad Daugherty, Tyrone Hill, Hot Rod Williams and last but not least Olden Polynice.

Man, its funny to think about those guys.

The 2003 draft was one of my favourites because I'm a Denver fan and we got probably our best player ever in Carmelo Anthony out of it. You cant say 2007 will be the best or 96 was the best or 2003 was the best. Who knows 2050 might be the best class. Its hard to say at this moment in time which will be the best ever. Only way to find out is if the NBA somehow goes down and it finishes then you can see which was the best. All in all it doesnt really matter when they enter the league its what they do that matters.

I think that the 07 draft wont be better than 84 nor 03.

The 2003 draft was good but 84 was better:

1. Hakeem Olajuwon
2. Michael Jordan
3. Charles Barkley
4. John Stockton


96 was good but only had a few truley great players compared to ones in 84.

I think he may have been with Seattle. I'm almost positive he wasn't with Indiana though.

I remember when we traded Delef for Derek McKey. That was a dark day in Indiana. People were furious, wanted Donnie Walsh's head. The fact of the matter was that we already had a shooting swingman in Reggie, we needed a defender at the 3 position to go next to him. After that trade worked out and McKey was such an outstanding player for the Pacers, we decided from then on we'd always have a defender at the 3 position. This, in my opinion, was the downfall of the Pacers. Because of this theory we tried to play Jalen Rose at point guard (horrible mistake) and we held on the Ron Artest for too long.

Detlef was an Allstar, and so were Brad Daugherty and Chris Gatling. In fact im pretty sure Blaylock and Tyrone Hill were too.
