Arenas with a 35 foot 3 pointer to send the game to overtime. Thats nuts.

I was playing my dynasty vs. dynasty series with HonorGlow at the same time as the game, and almost at the same time Arenas hit a three to tie, my man hit a three-pointer to win the game. And it was in almost the same place as well. I was celebrating two things at the same time.

Talk about clutch though. With the season on the line, Arenas has the guts to shoot a 35 footer.

Man, that shot was mad clutch!! He took a 3 from pretty far, like 4-5 feet from the 3.

When he first took the shot I was furious because I thought he would miss it since it was from so far away , and I was extremely angry that the Wizards season would be over. Fortunately , the shot went in , so I'm not as angry as I was before.

Hmmm...Gilbert Arenas missed both free throws. Damn it...

WTF..damon jones outta no where in this series to finish of the wiz! LeBron tackled him like a horney chimp!

EDIT : Lebron with two steals and one very clutch crucial block to help them tie the game in the regular. Just a side note for the chump(s) who said he doesnt play defence. Now we await comments by the chump(s) who said the wizards would win.

Yeah, the refs in my soccer game just called me offside when the opponent kicked the ball to me... (i.e. not offside)

Get over it...

The NBA isn't just some inconsequential rec league, you know. Those calls actually matter.

So what? Wade also gets tons of steals and blocks, but that doesn't mean that any of those two guys can defend a parked car.

As I said elsewhere, I'm disappointed ESPN Australia couldn't show the entire double header or opt for the Cavs/Wizards game instead. True, it would've been the same series twice in a row and it's good they've had variety so far in their coverage but the way it's gone this season, a Spurs game isn't variety. It wasn't too bad in the first half but with the way it went in the second, it didn't exactly make up for not showing the clearly more exciting contest that came before it. Oh well.

It's come to a point now where it seems that when a team someone wants to win looses..it's the refs. Apparantly its impossible for a team to win a game unless it's the fault of the refs. It idiocity of the nba talk section is appauling now.

Cleveland won....with a helping hand of the refs. Can't deny that. Yes, Washington is attrocious defensively but the result could have been very different if the refs didn't bail Cleveland out.

Lebron has done something Carmelo, T-Mac and Kobe never did on their own - get out of the first round. And he's 21 years old.

WTF?!?

Lebron had Ilgauskas, Hughes, Gooden, Snow, Marshall. Z is automaitc in the post when left alone, Larry Hughes is Larry Hughes, Gooden is a fierce rebounder though inconsistent, Eric Snow has NBA finals experience and Donyell Marshall can actually stretch the defense. Can you believe that? WOW Bron sure did a good job getting out of the 1st round on his own.

Melo has Camby, Martin, Miller, Boykins, nut-grabber & Patterson. And he didn't advance to the 2nd round.

Bron sure did a good job getting out of the 1st round on his own

Did you see how he played in this series?

so lebron's impact was little to none? 2 game winners, averaging over 30+ ppg, shoot outs with arenas, come on, stop the lebron hating and respect what he has done

Ilgauskas and Hughes both played like scrubs (Ilgauskas highest scoring output in the series was 15 - his regular season average is 15.9), Snow is fifty years old, Gooden is a lousy defender and not the toughest or most useful guy in the world and the only one from your list that actually contributed to this team is Marshall who comes off the bench. And I'd take Odom over any two of Lebron's teammates.
