Now comes our toughest game of the season, the Toronto Raptors.

The Raptors will stomp on the Clippers.

I'm sorry, but I have to cheer for my hometown team first.

Goooooooooodbye Nice to Know You!

Good game from The Raptors though, they performed way better than I expected but Elton put the hurting on them on both ends. Corey with another big game on the offensive side of things and he's surely pushing for that all-star spot he's always wanted but Im sure everyone will put Ginobli in cause he's from Argentina and he can dunk.

Next up Denver, should be an interesting game I just hope Camby doesnt go loco on us. :(

I hear team unity at the Clippers is so bad that one player has already walked out...

Our rosters so deep and strong that we loan players to other teams. We believe that by letting the Raptors have Korolev and him becoming there franchise player they can ease the pain that Toronto has of having Mike James as there franchise player.

Los Angeles folk care about all people. Besides Donald Sterling's motto is 'Give to the people, then rob there money'

Things arent going too well of late. Work has made me miss alot of the last games and going home dead tired and seeing the Clippers suffered another loss is just too painful.

Oh well it was expected we comeback down to earth, hopefully we can beat the Cavaliers in the rematch. Standing at 11-5 is alot better for some reason than 10-6, were still on track to make the playoffs but I hope things dont go too downhill from now on in. :x

Congrats to EB on becoming player of the month, MVP MVP MVP!

Got the W against the Cavs last night which was great. Chris K had a big game and really impressed me for the first time although Im still to become a fan of his.

Elton and Corey are both playing great so far and I hope they make it to the all-star game, they better not put Ginobili in again. :x I think EB has a good chance of making it but Corey will have more competition. At the moment Brand is probably the most in form power forward and that should help him garner up some early votes.

Next up Miami, should be quite an interesting game although we should come up with the win with Shaq out.

"Should" being the key word there

Kidding... of course. When they're not playing my team, I like to see the Clips do well. Partly because I can't stand the Lakers (my cousin likes them, so of course I have to be against! :) ) and because Maggette is a kick ass player who seems to be the most overlooked in the league. I think the Clips have a good chance of getting into the playoffs this year. Maybe as high as a 5th seed?

Well we "Did" it. EB with a big game, 6 blocks baby and 37 points!

Sam I Am did a good job of setting up plays and passing the ball tonight, his been a bit shaky in the last few games hopefully he can continue in this trend for the next few games at least.

I hate those orange buffalo jerseys though, its just an odd color for a b-ball jersey at least in my opinion.

Next up NYK, should be a real easy game. :)

Close game, I wasnt even watching it cause it was against the Knicks but damn they put a better performance than expected. Elton with another big game, he's in the form of his life right now and Sam had another big night on the assists column although he still needs to get a bit more tidier. Singleton got a chance to play again and did a good job in the minutes he got and Cats helped out on offense.

Cant believe we let Eddy Curry get a double double, this is why I really dont like Chris so far he's had only one good game that stands out yet people believe he's bound to breakout soon. :?

Gonna be at the Phoenix game, should be a neat game although I think the Suns will come in as favourites even without Amare. :(

That was an impressive game against the Suns w/o Corey.

I think the Clips will be #1 at the end of the month.

Pistons up by 12 with 7 left. Brand is having a great game but not much else for the Clips.

You know, I didn't think I'd ever see the day when the Clippers would be involved in a game that could actually be billed as a clash between one of the top teams from each conference.

I am so glad we won at Phoenix. I knew beating Detroit would be a strech but I thought we played well. If we had Maguette i think we could have won. Tomorrow's game against the Spurs should be a good one. I think Detroit had too many match up problems. I think this team is a playoff lock. I am happy with the Clips making the playoffs. I will get greedy once that happens.

Just thought I'd bump this up with Game 7 coming up.

I have a feeling we can take the game against Phoenix and move on to meet Dallas or San Antonio. We need to push around the Suns and destroy them on the glass cause thats where their weakness lies. Plus Elton has to do a better job on Marion because he's the main problem right now and no more Barbosa nights.

Cats shooting has been a bit up and down and I think starting Corey would be a good idea this time around or giving him more minutes.

If we make the WCF then I'm gonna make sure I get tickets to those games cause thats something I dont want to miss. But its gonna be really tough against the Mavs or Spurs if we or the Suns get in, those teams defense is levels above and they have much better depth and experience.

Well those darn Suns beat us

Anyway we overachieved this season and only positives should be taken, hopefully we're back again next season in the postseason and take it a step further. Good job to the whole team on a great season and the best of luck to Miami, Detroit, Phoenix and Dallas on their title run. (y)

Thanks Colin, I think its been a really great season for us cause not alot of people expected us to go this far. The team should stay positive and hopefully Elgin can strengthen the squad in the offseason, hopefully if/when Corey's traded the team can get another good deal like we did with Jaric. Im hoping we can grab Pierce or Allen, cause we could use a real high class swingman and that second star but the chances of that happening are very unlikely specially since the team was quite a success this season.

http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archi ... 4_million/

Los Angeles Times - Sam Cassell is signaling he'd take $5 million a season and Vlade Radmanovic might accept the veteran's exception of $5.5 million, they then can give Chris Kaman an extension that doesn't kick in until 2007-08 and next season's payroll would go up only $4 million.

"The first thing that is very, very positive for us, we can improve by doing nothing," Dunleavy said. "We've got guys here that are young enough that they're just going to get better. They can take us to another level on that alone."

Corey Maggette could become the odd man out though and a trade is a possibility. He accepted his role as sixth man this spring, but is likely to express reluctance in the future.

"I'm just letting my agent [Rob Pelinka] handle it, that's not for me to do," Maggette said. " … The biggest thing now is to be professional about it."

Thats good news to see we can still not go horribly over the cap with resignings and extension. I think we should move Corey in the off-season and either get a top 5 pick or try and get a second star if possible (really hoping we can get PP or Ray but I doubt it). One scenario has been Corey Maggette to New Orleans for JR Smith, the 12th and possibly someone else. I wouldnt mind that but despite JR having the talent to be a good scorer in this league he doesnt seem to want to learn although its hard to judge someone so soon and specially with Byron Scott up their ass. But the 12th pick could get us Brewer or Reddick both of whom can become good NBA bench players and that will definitely be a bonus down the road and not sure who the other player is but it could be D-Mase if we add something along with Maggette.

I thought Maggette was sixth man due to his injury. Wouldn't he recover and just start again?

Probably, but he seemed to play more effectively as a sixth man, so the Clippers decided to keep him there even though he was close to being fully recovered. I've heard that he doesn't enjoy being in that role though, but I think its a good fit for him even though he does not put up the stats that he used to put up.
