Now comes our toughest game of the season, the Toronto Raptors.
The Raptors will stomp on the Clippers.

I'm sorry, but I have to cheer for my hometown team first.

Elton and Corey are both playing great so far and I hope they make it to the all-star game, they better not put Ginobili in again.I think EB has a good chance of making it but Corey will have more competition. At the moment Brand is probably the most in form power forward and that should help him garner up some early votes.
Next up Miami, should be quite an interesting game although we should come up with the win with Shaq out.

"Should" being the key word there![]()
Kidding... of course. When they're not playing my team, I like to see the Clips do well. Partly because I can't stand the Lakers (my cousin likes them, so of course I have to be against!) and because Maggette is a kick ass player who seems to be the most overlooked in the league. I think the Clips have a good chance of getting into the playoffs this year. Maybe as high as a 5th seed?

Los Angeles Times - Sam Cassell is signaling he'd take $5 million a season and Vlade Radmanovic might accept the veteran's exception of $5.5 million, they then can give Chris Kaman an extension that doesn't kick in until 2007-08 and next season's payroll would go up only $4 million.
"The first thing that is very, very positive for us, we can improve by doing nothing," Dunleavy said. "We've got guys here that are young enough that they're just going to get better. They can take us to another level on that alone."
Corey Maggette could become the odd man out though and a trade is a possibility. He accepted his role as sixth man this spring, but is likely to express reluctance in the future.
"I'm just letting my agent [Rob Pelinka] handle it, that's not for me to do," Maggette said. " … The biggest thing now is to be professional about it."
