the bulls put themselves in position to win (and eventually lose) the game.. that's what i wanted to see.. no more miracle comebacks/embarassing starts. just come out, compete, play hard- they way they've played most of the year
i'm pretty pissed about several things, other then the bulls losing of course:
-gordon should have been playing down the stretch. he had a bad start but him just being out there drew so much attention from the wiz defense. the bulls got a bunch of open looks/layups because of this.
-screw pargo. his shoot happy style looks great when the team's down by 20 or whatever because if he misses, oh well, they'd lose anyway. he is not a clutch player. again, ben gordon should have been taking the shots/minutes pargo was taking in the 2nd half.
you don't ride a guy for the entire season and then get off on game 6. terrbile coaching blunder by coach skiles
-chandler must have had a brain fart or something. maybe he didn't know how much time was left, which i could understand. he could have at least stepped back to the 3pt line though
and last but not least.. kirk fricking hinrich's pass to duhons back. the leader of the team can't be doing that shit.. especially out of a timeout. man, just typing this out makes me want to take another shot of tequila...
i wonder which Bulls players will be back next season though?
davis, chandler, curry, gordon, deng, hinrich, duhon, nocioni i think for sure. pike only out of necessity because of his salary but i could see him being packaged in a trade
paxson has reiterated over and over he plans to resign curry and chandler....
harrington and griff are capable backups but i think the team still wants to upgarde at PF/C and a tall SG. donyell marshall was at game 5 so maybe he's a possibility for the pf/c. for the tall SG- not sure who's available off the top of my head
i'll leave the eulogy to andrew
congrats to the wiz
