This one's turning into the series it was expected to be. I noticed Nowitzki scored 18, the first time in the series he hasn't upped his point total from the previous game. Now that it's going to a three game mini-series, I say it goes the distance.

T-Mac fumbled the ball (N) He should have just called timeout instead of trying to go fullcourt.

It's now dead even at 2-2. I'll just cross my fingers for the next game. I hope there will be an opposite trend in the remaining games - that homecourt should be an advantage.

I've read Steve Kerr's scorecard about the Rockets-Mavs series, stating that the Mavs have more firepower. Bottom line: Mavericks in 7

But the Mavs' bench is one firepower out. I say, still the Mavs in 7. (Y)

Jason Terry has been the one that's killing the rockets. I guess no one noticed on the rockets bench that this guy shoots 49% from downtown this series. I thought JVG is more experienced in making adjustments but i guess i was wrong.. :(

Exactly.

it just shows you the depth of the Mavericks. If their star player doesn't perform they can still manage to win big games. If Nowitzki plays wells thats just a huge plus for the Mavs.

heheh i'm marking your words indy i'm marking em.

anyways jeff did made adjustments......just happened that the lucky bounce went to the mavs 3 games straight already...and terry has gotten the feel for the playoffs.....

this one's getting harder to predict.... anyways i'll be not working the day of game 5....i'll be staying at home with the hope of the "CRAZY 88" jinx maybe gone.....remember the rockets in game 2,3 and 4 were always stuck in the 4th after they score 88 points.......

What a game. Mavs win 103-100. Valiant effort by Houston, but the refs blew a few calls and the Mavs take it. I was on the edge of my seat for a lot of this one. My prediction that the Mavs are going to the finals stays alive!

- Jeff Van Gundy's been fined $100,000, the biggest fine for a coach in NBA History, for unfair comments before Game 5; possibly a permanent ban according to David Stern.

- Dallas becomes the first team to win at home in this Rockets-Mavs series.

- It's now 3-2, Mavs.

For a $100,000 fine, you'd think there'd be some profanity or personal remarks in there. If he's going to be banned for something David Stern is making too big a deal of, then the league is making a poor decision in a season that has already seen enough poor decisions regarding disciplinary action.

Considering it's the first that David Stern experienced in his many years in the NBA, he thought it was a big slap in the face for the organization as a whole. Here in our country, this is part of life. Whatever aspect it may be, as long as there's a winner and a loser...the losers always say they've been cheated, the winners always say the latter (i.e. the losers always say they've been cheated).

Let's just hope this doesn't get worst. I hope after this Rockets-Mavs series, everyone moves on.

this isn't like a player cursing out a ref or whatever....

when a player or coach is openly challenging the intergrity of the game and says he has a source, i would think any commish would have to take some kind of, no pun intended, stern action...

finley was out of bounds on that strip :x
