Biedrins always kicks arse in my NBA Live games!
Fri Jul 22, 2005 8:18 am
I'm surprised that no one speaks about him as of a potential top 5 center in this league (if the Warriors keep him at that position).
He's still 19 years old, and has played little. He is 2 or 3 years away from a breakout season, IMO, but he's definitely a keeper..

I just don't think the Bulls will refuse to match...BUT Reinsdorf is an idiot, so who knows.
what has reinsdorf done that's idiotic?? he's more of baseball guy, the basketball stuff he leaves to his GM.

Let's see...hmmm...oh yeah there's that whole letting that little orc named Krause destroy one of the greatest basketball franchises in history, all so the Bulls could replace one of the best coaches in history with....Tim Floyd.

Well, Tim was a succesful college coach at the moment, and the Bulls probably needed rehauling after MJ stepped out... Must be Krause's face that is uninspiring of grandeur, though...
Anyway, let's go back to the Warriors, shall we?

I want to see how this team does for a full year before the core starts getting ripped apart in trades.

If we do well this year (see: playoffs) , I don't think the core will be altered.

Has Pietrus been starting last season or was it always Dunleavy?

lol interesting way to put that. but now that krause is gone, so is the idiocy & lunacy. let's put this behind us already.
so far every move paxson has made has been right on. drafting hinrich, gordon, duhon... trading rose & craford.. etc
anywho, dunleavy for the most part has been starting over pietrus

Mike Jr. was starting. But there's no telling who'll get the nod next season. If Dunleavt does not get traded, expect them to rotate with Pietrus covering the 2 on occasion...
Tue Jul 26, 2005 6:30 am
If petrius was bigger, he'd prolly break in the starting lineup, but he's really a 2.
Tue Jul 26, 2005 7:08 am
Aw I hope dunleavy gets traded because he's pretty much the only guy in the whole team I absolutely can't stand at all.
Wed Jul 27, 2005 8:36 am
He played alot better with Baron, he needs someone to set him up to be productive. I think he will play much better next season.

If he can be anywhere NEAR consistent hitting the open jumpers BD will provide him, he's worth keeping.

My concern is that he doesnt want too much money to be the 4th option on the team. If he wants Joe Johnson money, than its time to move him.

he's worth less than the MLE right now... if he has a breakout/contract year, maaybe his price tag will go up... But he won't warrant 20 mil in the first year any time soon...

change Mr. Charisma in the list to [MVP], thats my name nowadays.
cheers.
does anyone else think that GSW should deal Dunleavy?
and also, GSW picking up Curry would be huge, but doesnt Chi-Town want the Michael Jordan of France Pietrus?

Yes, I do.

I say give him away. Curry would complete an impressive and talented starting 5. But in that case we'd have to keep Mike D.

If curry was a defensive center, thats one thing, but he's not. Id rather have Foyle blocking shots than Curry fouling out. We already have scorers, we need a defensive big.
Tue Sep 27, 2005 2:35 am
Who could GSW possibly give for Curry? Pietrus&Biedrins? That would fill Bulls' needs at C and SG. I mean, a lineup of Biedrins, Chandler, Deng, Pietrus and Hinrich (with Nocioni, Gordon and others coming off the bench) sounds extremely promising.

The way the team is projected to play this year, it's all about offense. So I'd take Curry anytime.
Plus, you can't really pick Foyle over Curry for any reason.

Biedrins is not ready to start yet...

Biedrins & Petrius for Curry is way too much. I agree we are a offensive team this year, thats why we need a defensive big. Kinda like how the Spurs have bowen even tho they are a scoring team. We score alot, but we give up alot too, that needs to be fixed.

That's true. Pietrus can be even better than Richardson, IMO. His shot is better, his first step is more explosive and he's already a monster on D. Mullin would do a smart thing if he kept him for this season and hoped he'll have a breakout year. He's a legit 6th Man of the Year Award candidate if everything goes as planned. And somebody should trade Dunleavy's ass out of that town. They don't fit. In fact, they badly need Baron's new pick'n'roll partner. A big man who can actually run.
I know he's a great human being, but can somebody make a case for Foyle and his massive contract?
Thu Sep 29, 2005 7:39 am
Cant make a case for his contact, but as much as I dont care for him, we need him until biedrins/taft is ready to start.
