Last week I had the pleasure of going against Augustine right after Jennings went down. Now Rondo goes down and I get to face Harris. If Harris goes off against me I'm going to be so mad.

Let’s not pretend this section won’t be about Hassan Whiteside, who continued to lay claim to LeBron James’ abandoned kingdom with 24 points on 12-of-13 shooting, 20 rebounds, three steals and two blocks.

I’ll point folks to what I said on January 15th, and add that he’s been a top 6-10 play (9/8 cat) for the last month with averages of 14.4 points, 11.7 rebounds, 0.7 steals, 3.3 blocks while hitting 65.3 percent from the field and 71.4 percent from the line. I called this type of production “not laugh you out of the room impossible” and told folks that I’d be treating him as an early round guy with upside beyond that.

Well, we're seeing 'beyond that' and then some.

The big news? He’s playing just 25.2 mpg over that month-long span and like I said then the numbers aren’t out of character for his stat set. I’m not sure I’m willing to rule out more of the immature behavior that set him back in Sacramento and other places, and he had a major knee (patella) injury that cost him time in his rookie season, but I’m really scraping the bottom of the barrel here for due diligence. I can’t see parting with him for anybody without rock solid top-10 value pointing in the right direction. He has a pretty good playoff schedule as icing on the cake.

I will give you back your Lopez and Ryan Anderson for Hassan Whiteside. That means you got (Brandon Knight & Patty Mills) for (Kevin Martin). How that sound? plz?

Because besides maybe Collison, Whiteside has been the only player producing consistently. Everyone else has either put up garbage games (Love, Conley, etc) or missed games (Knight, Conley, etc) Galloway seemed like he was going to be consistent, but he put up a couple weak games too.

And for that reason I'm not interested in trading him. *edit: Unless for something REALLY interesting. (Anderson and Lopez are not interesting lol)

ha I did not see this coming at the beginning of the season when all teams in the league were super close in the standings. But you guys should not complain because you guys are still only 1 game back of a playoff spot. don't blame me if you don't make playoffs because even at 12, there's still 3 teams better than you that you didn't beat to get in

Hahaha I wasn't complaining. But every year we do have someone/division with dubious honor that's worth mentioning and little fun chat to break mid season boredom. In contrast, our division is just a nightmare. Rose Before Hoes arguably is the MOST DOMINANT team in our league history. Add 2nd and 3rd top teams to it, you're looking at one heck of a nice teams stacked all in one div. Let me boast lil more actually, last 5 championships out of 6 came out of teams in our divisions.

I am still rooting for fatgeeker and ILoveMondays to make the playoffs. Let's be proud of our NovU/shadowshit Showdown division.

To be fair, I'm not the instigator on most of them (especially the later ones)... perhaps It's just that he's having difficulties negotiating with you lot that's why he prefers to deal with me most of the time...
