Toronto are looking good, I'm liking the new team its working well. Bargnani is awesome in my opinion, always great to have a shooting big man.

He has potential, but he's still adjusting to the flow of the game. He can block shots, but at the same time he's being called for too many fouls. Hopefully by the All-Star break, he'll be a starter.

I knew that Bargnani would have trouble adjusting defensively like most Europeans do, so it's not suprising.

I am disappointed with Ford's play though. Even though it's only pre-season and all of that, but the fact that he is struggle is concerning.

I think Baragnani is going to have some competition if he's to become a starter this season.

Unless he is rushed into playing C or (knock on wood) Bosh gets hurt and he's put in at PF it is likely that he will be playing SF.

I think that Garbs is going to be one hell of a pick up for us and show that the WC's were no fluke and that he's one hell of a player. I'd expect Gargs to be a starter before Baragnani becomes one.

Garbs had a nice preseason but he had his ups and downs on offense. His defense is questionable but he's an awesome addition for the Raptors.

As for Ford, I'm a little concerned about him even though he has the skill to make excellent passes and he's probably the fastest player in the league. If he could put the reigns on himself and have good chemistry with the team, then I'll be happy with what he can do.

O.T.

You here Canadian Denham Brown got waived ?
I didn't really expect that.
He didn't have a chance to show the Sonics we he got but in one game he had like 9 Points in 14 Minutes.
Hopefully someone can pick him up.

I wouldnt worry about Ford just yet. The guy never plays well in preseason really, wait for the season and i think he will up the tempo. Also hes probably still adjusting to the Raptors players etc. After running point for 2 years with the Bucks then going to the Raptors, he would have to make some big adjustments. Even if he doesnt turn out is doesnt look like Charlie V is playing that well either, so it tells you they are still adjusting. Another player whos looked to improve is Calderon, 17 and 7 assists the other day thats impressive, he looks like a solid backup or he may even start. Good pickup i say.

Who would've guessed Toronto would go undefeated this long (or even at all)? I know it's the preseason and all, but it's not like we were playing against everyone's scrubs or something like that. :o

I'm less than surprised. Having a great PG completely transforms teams. We've seen it with NBA teams (Nets, Phoenix, Bulls, Hornets) and i've seen it even down to just casual amateur leagues. Trading TJ was the biggest off-season shocker to me, even more than Big Ben moving (which was an on-going rumor since the last AS break).

Should be a good year for Toronto to stop picking up lottery picks & move into the post-season.

Hmm...with this kinda play, they might actually make it into the playoffs as the 8th seed afterall. I was predicting that they would just be 9th or 10th, missing the 8th seed by about 1-3 games. Opening night for the Raptors is just 5 days away...

I'm pretty excited, except I don't have The Score :( I'll be watching the TSN games, though. Maybe I can watch the game through somebody who has something posted relating to something.

Wow j.23, you called it. Nets win and Kidd gets his triple double.

The Raptors were really off from the field, and they still have their issues on defense, but there were positives from the game. TJ Ford was pretty impressive, had a 19pt, 5 reb, 7 assist night and Anthony Parker had 22 points.

On a side note, anyone browse through the RealGM boards? or look on hoopshype.com? Apparently Vince wants to come back to Toronto...

oh man the raptors just looked bad tonight. their shooting was way off, still no defence, i think bosh is having problems with his injury, graham just sucked, bargnani didnt look so good, jorge shooting was off. the only newcomers that looked good was TJ FORD and PARKER

the raptors need to work hard for their next game cuz the bucks are looking good as they are beating the pistons rite now

- Mitchell is dumb (100 shots per game, and shoot whenever you are ope?!?!?!? WTF?!?!)
- Sit Bosh out for the next couple of games or at least a week (or give him very limited minutes).
- Parker!!!!!!!!!!!
- TJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Trade Joey...please.

Yes! I am going to the Phily game on the 8th with 3 friends!!!!!

Also, for those who are looking for tickets, go to http://www.raptorman.ca/

This guy sells them without tax and usually 3 bucks less for each ticekt. So basically, you are saving $3 off each ticket and no need to pay tax.

I AM GOING TO THE PHILY GAME!!!!! 8-) (Y) (Y) :D

Seems like there's a lot of unhappy people not only at RealGM but in Raptors management regarding Sam Mitchell's coaching. He might be the first coach to go.

Bargs needs more playing time, especially this early in the season. And TJ Ford looked really good last night. He had some great passes.

I think theres a reason why hes the most hated coach in the league by the players. I remember reading some where they polled the players and he was the winner, or loser, or whatever lol. I never liked him, don't know why.

What do you call a power forward that averages 7 rebounds?
A small forward.
